If you were there for the MUS BGA game then you would've seen that the score did not show the level of play by both teams. I'm going to give CBHS the go ahead since i'v played against both BGA and CBHS. BGA might have the scores to think they are better, but the play of CBHS, in my opinion, is still higher than BGA's,

Good question, this could explain the close scores with Briacrest and MUS in the region tourney.
no they had all their players, one of the cbhs defenders had a cast on his hand however. All teams from the west should be ready...i look forward to an intense end to this season.

anyone know a final score?
Very good game
MUS-1
CBHS-2
From a fans prespective CBHS had the first half and MUS had the second. The goals were as follows: for cbhs, a very pretty diving header by matt padhe, and an own goal from the back of an mus defender. for mus, a tap in by logan welch. Great soccer, and hopefully these two teams will meet again
-
I didn't see the game, but the paper read the goalkeeper got hot and gave the rest of the team some confidence.
the goal that cbhs scored wasn't very pretty. It was banged around the box off of four different people then trickled through the goal keepers legs. Should be a great game MUS vs. CBHS. It's about time these two teams got to play in the stadium, and this game should end up a great one. Thrus at 8

MUS plays ECS tom for a chance to play CBHS in the regional finals for the West

3-1 houston
Starting sweeper for MUS was out due to surgery, but great game to Houston, gotta give them credit. Too bad Houston can't play CBHS, that would be a good game
-
You are talking about Devon Mathis from Baylor. He is incredible. He was also the kicker for the football team this year.
haha i watched that kid play, and he does that lineup thing that kickers do in football. The three step drop and the toe touch on the ground before the kick...it was quite funny to watch
-
Interesting- Houston beat an ECS team 4-0 that MUS tied 1-1 weird stuff
didn't mean to offend you, but that game ended prematurely by 20 min due to lightning. Don't get me wrong, Houston is a very good team seeing that they beat Bcrest 5-0 correct? MUS tied Bcrest. So the obvious favorite is houston, but MUS should be ready, for they haven't lost to Houston in 3 years
-
Just wondering what everyone thinks will happen...Houston is undefeated, but a tie to a Germantwon team that MUS beat 4-1.
Should be a great game
-
If any people from Bearden are reading this, then they know that Brian Evans from MUS is good also...Since he hit one upper 90 perfectly against them during the Bearden Invitational
-
MUS 4- Germantown 1
MUS 4- JP2 1
-
MUS bounced back after 3-0 loss with 4-1 win against G town
-
I think this is a pretty ludicrous convo actually. I'd just kick him in the nuts and get a red card. He leaves the game, i leave the game, we win.
-
MUS plays CBHS tues 7:30... should be a good match, one of MUS captains is out because of a red card, can anyone verify?

Who won the Collierville-MUS game
MUS won 1-0, but it wasn't a good goal
-
MUS vs. Bearden 7:50 fri
then Farragut Sat not sure the time
then McMinn Co. 8:00 Sun
-
I know MUS plays Farragut and Bearden this weekend, do they play each other also?
-
Collierville (6-0) plays MUS (2-0) this tuesday at collierville, 7 PM i believe. Any predictions or comments on how either team is doing this year?
-
ridgeway controlled most of the game the 1st goal bounced over the keepers head and rolled into the goal. The middle was ran by 2 juniors Jasper and Exelberd and 1 senior Ashkanz. The game was fun to watch and the game on tuesday VS houston should bea good one
Controlled most of the game? you must be joking. I watched it and for the most part, the ball was with MUS on the Ridgeway side of the field. I don't know what game u were watching, but that's not what i saw.
-
what was the score at half?
1-0
-
MUS 3 Ridgeway 1
Sloppy game that was physical.
-
Actually ridgeway lost to germantown in PKs last year before going to district championship... if they would have won that game they would have been in state hands down in germantowns position. ridgeway had a good team last year but personally i think ridgeway is stronger this year. they didnt lose anything they jsut gained. as for Josh Jasper he is no dobt one of, if not the best junior in the state. he was all state last year and hopefully will be again this year.
I dont know why you think that MUS has no major advantage on Ridgeway. i guess we will see. It will be a good game just like always
Just responding to your statement that you didnt lose anyone this year....umm jeremy logue and Hanes? as i recall they were some of your best players
-
It would be a fun tourney to get a couple of teams from each area of the state and have them play mid-season...like Bearden and Farragut from the east, Brentwood, blackman, and Hendersonville....and a couple of teams from the west (i dont really follow the west). This tourney would be good for a couple of reasons; it would get the potentially best teams to feel each other out before a huge title is on the line and it would be a very competitive tourney for a short time allowance.
i know that next weekend, MUS travels to east tennessee to play Bearden fri, Farragut sat, and McMinn co sun. Im not sure if it's a tourney tho.

when is it? and how does ridgeway look this year?
it's this thurs at 7. i haven't seen ridgeway play yet...
