You don't actually believe that about MP, do you? Do you really think Marco could have done what he's done without 'the rest of the team'? Marco is obviously awesome, but he doesn't do it alone. Would MP have won 3 region championships in a row without defensive players? Would MP have made it to the playoffs 4 years in a row if they didn't play as a TEAM? We may not beat Lewis County (and should we? They ARE a 2A school.) but we'll play with just as much TEAM effort as anyone else.

If things go the way they have been going, MP/CW will be the biggie. I always like the MP/CA game. Do they come to the Jungle this time?

What an atmosphere in the Jungle that night. That game is second only to last year's Jo Byrns as far as the crowd goes, imo.

CW's music was good, from what I remember. Y'all are the only people we played that I remember having music, except for JCS, who played Spirit in the Sky. You can't beat Welcome to the Jungle playing as our guys run onto the field. I get goosebumps thinking about it!

Yeah, our fans get on here just like your fans do and say all kinds of things. I think our team is very UN arrogant and I'm sorry that you have heard otherwise. MPHS just won the AF Bridges award for sportsmanship so maybe what you heard was wrong.

I usually read all the posts in a thread before I offer my less-than-2-cents worth, but this one irks me. This MP team is the most UNarrogant team around. We've been hearing the 'one man show' business all year long. Marco is the man but obviously he has people around him so he can do what he does.

Way to go Tigers! What a game, 30-28. Love the train horn! Our crowd was the loudest they have been all year, and I am totally hoarse. Marco had 293 yds and went over 5,000 for his career. Jo Byrns, heck of a game. Two VERY good teams played each other tonight. I hate that someone had to lose. Hold your heads up JB, y'all have one heck of a team. I got to meet Shep and Logger before the game. They are both extremely nice and I enjoyed talking to them very much. Big Tuck had 22 tackles and was unbelievable. David Brown had 7 sacks. I hate nailbiters but like the outcome of this one this year.

Agreed. Since he's been our coach MP is 41-8, with 29 straight region wins, and that's with losing almost 40 seniors over the last 3 years. I believe all this info to be correct but I have been wrong before!
