I just wanted to add something about Blake Martin. I was very unhappy with the way Notre Dame handled the whole thing with him not coahcing anymore. Mainly because of the way it happened right before the soccer season was about to start. I personally think that Blake Martin was a great fit for Notre Dame and to the best of my knowledge the did very well to improve the team. The only reason Notre Dame couldn't reach that next level was because of the lack of respect that he got as a coach. I know that parents and some players were not a big fan of his. They were not ready to change styles of play or positions for that matter. Notre Dame went from a more direct style of play to a more controled posession type team while he was there for his three years and I believe that a lot of Notre Dame's success can be attributed to Martin's coaching. If you look at the progression of overall records in his time there it improved every year he was there. He inherited a team that had a losing record and built them up to one of the better teams in D2. I'm not really going to say a whole lot about the parents that he had to deal with but I know that one of them actually gave our athletic director a starting lineup list of people who they thought should start. Which in my opinion is disrespectful to a coach. It is a slap in the face to a coach pretty much saying that the coach doesn't know what's best but parents do. But despite all of that I think Martin did a great job at ND and from what I know got a raw deal because of lack of respect and disrespect. Jim Schermerhorn has done a fantastic job with ND as well. To inherit a team who just a matter of weeks before the season had no clue who their coach was going to be. He is a great coach and has done a great job. Keep up the good work.

Memphis Rangers won the U18 and Nashville FC got second and qualified for regions as the U19 for getting 2nd.

I will agree that the Notre Dame vs Knox Catholic is a great rivalry. Both teams always come out ready to play a physical and close match. Except for this year where I have no idea what happened.

With all of the talk about Baylor and McCallie, I was just wondering what people thought were some of the best rivalries in the state were.
