Well, that is different from what I heard. Of course it's not like they're going to come out and announce it in the media. Just hard to believe with a shortage of officials you would suspend an entire crew for basically the actions of one individual. But then again that one sideline official was not the one Who miscounted timeouts in the second half.

    Second edit

Just saw a clip of video from a situation on a punt and an improper spot missed by five yards. Wow. Same sideline judge with the missed spot. Nevertheless, it seems like that official could have been overridden for such an obviously bad spot that at least one other official had a clear angle at.

What was the situation on a punt?

Four penalties were announced by officials as unsportsmanlike conduct, with players identified by number. Personal fouls are not necessarily USC. And you can take that culture BS somewhere else. Probably all those paid recruits, right? You’d think a free education and a Dodge Charger would be enough to get these kids to behave.

Ok that makes sense. It could be 4 unsportsmanlike and 2 personal fouls. Either way all 6 of those penalties are under your own control.

as for the rest of this post I don’t think it’s directed at me but I have no idea what you are talking about if it Is directed my way.

Like someone said earlier   It was not 6 but 4 and one REALLY questionable call

It was 6. I went back and watched last night. I listed the numbers on all 6 of them. Streams are still up if you want to fact check.

Holding, block in the back, PI can be argued if you want but 90 yards in unsportsmanlike penalties and another 5 on delay of game I find it hard to blame refs for that.

There were 4 unsportsmanlike penalties and there are no excuses for those. If you take those away, USJ was penalized approximately 85 yards and they also negated about 100 yards of offense. I believe there were 4 or 5 flags on JC, not certain of the yardage.

My count is 6 unsportsmanlike penalties

For the life of me I could Not figure it out. But the delay of game sounds right and would have moved it back 5 yards. I will Say it even though they are a rival but USJ got hosed on calls all night. Now the unsportsmanlike calls are another story. But I can Understand the frustration building all night.

If you get rid of the 5 or 6 unsportsmanlike penalties for the Bruins what are the penalty yards between the two teams?

  6. My post was probably a little pre-mature, but if you look at the situation, it looks as if the assistant coach was coaching under the head coach knowing that he was set up to take over the head coaching job as soon as the season was over. They fired Roland one day and hire the new guy the next day. It sounds like this was going to happen regardless of what success Roland had. It is still a shame considering Roland left Boyd-Buchanan to come to Jackson and gets this in return.

I am curious as to what experience the new head coach has as a head coach...

A friend of mine at Jackson Christian told me Coach Roland had been told about a month ago that he would be let go at the end of the season. The announcements where close together but the decision to fire Roland and hire Palmer were not on that same timeline

  7. I've known CTR since we were about 10 years old. I was glad to have him teach Chemistry to my sons at Boyd Buchanan. When he coached he was so well liked that there was a group of kids who called themselves the "Todd Squad". they were kids that required hard work in practice and a 4.0 GPA to be on the TS.

Jackson Christian has a terrible program and was on the verge of changing that. It's decisions like this that explain why they.......aren't good at football.

So you think they fired him for no reason like the paper says?

  8. knotted up at 21 s . . .not the game some of these folks were expecting . Signal mountain has had some big plays but not really the Juggernaugt I was expecting...Trinity has looked vintage playing the same football I hasve seen so many times this year. SM goes into the half with a bit of momentum after a big blocked kick. Trinity picks the ball up to crank up the 3rd . . I think points are imperative for the lions.Hope it continues to be a good one.

  9. I am not saying anything happened I heard it from a friend at the game that something happened and I got on here to see if there was any credibility behind it. Something happened I am saying if he did hit a girl and was suspended that i would be very dissapointed becasue I dont wanna see one of these garbage Middle and East teams beat a Manassas team that is playing men down for a State Championship

  10. I was pulling for Humboldt in this Tournament because I thought they were the better team. Today Manassas knocked down shots when that needed to be knocked down. I am now gonna stick with W. Tennessee and pull for Manassas, but I will say this if Reginald did what he is being accusesd for I hope that a Tournament win is all he wanted be casue that is sorry on his part. Fans are at the game to jaw and that is thier only purpose on the earth. A player is at the game to play. Its great to be emotional about the game, but he is 2 games away from one of the biggest games of his life and he is gonna let what was prolly some punk girl get in his head. What a joke. I hope that this is not the truth because if so this is a waste of a great State Tournament.
