I'm not sure. According to the radio announcers (I did not attend the game), after going up 35 - 13 with under 7 minutes remaining in the game, White Station began playing a "prevent" defense. They did not make any reference or comments either way, however, about substitutes. Given the above, I suspect that White Station's 1's were still in the game. They just kinda' (naturally?) lost interest in the game, given their "huge" (in their minds) 22-point lead! Afterall, they had been dominating Arlington and its QB for most of the game, up to that point. This passive mindset combined with a passive "prevent" defense..... A desperate, battered Arlington offense must have shouted a hearty "thank you" to White Station and its Coaching staff!!! Arlington suddenly came off life-support, became super aggressive, then proceeded to take full advantage of the situation by reeling off 2 TD's within about a 2 minute span! Wow. That shows some serious heart and determination by Arlington's team. So, while I'm not sure about White Station's late-game personnel, I am 100% certain that they called off the (defensive) dogs too early....much, much too early!

I agree 100%, Terop! In my observation (with all due respect to Central and East), Ridgeway and Southwind were the best two teams in Memphis this year. Unfortuntely, they (especially Ridgeway) got "tripped up" trying to play their way out of Memphis. Of course, as you and others have long pointed out, Terop -- getting out of Memphis has ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS been extremely difficult. This year proved no different. Anyway, Go Memphis Central, Memphis East and Memphis Mitchell (I'm STILL trying to digest the MIRACULOUS way in which BTW lost that game yesterday to Lake County. Wow. Truly unbelievable!).
