yea, but i do believe riggs may want to play for weathers, they are supposed to move up from florida in january....

keep us updated bhsOL bigwilly i know he wouldn't have to leave cali but i'd say he wants to be closer to his brother and be able to watch him, but i actually don't know i've just heard the rumor.

I think both his brothers playing for UT had some bearing on it and he probly wants to play for UT.

Rumor has it Gerald riggs dad wants his second son to play for Tom Weathers and is concidering moving to Soddy Daisy. Also riggs parents ( supposebly) have been in contact with clausens dad in california about coming. Clausen was concidering playing at maryville but after talking with riggs and finding out about recievers Eric Atchley and Chris Rickets, and 6'6 250 lbs TE Nick Shadrick, Clausen is concidering coming to Soddy. But please remember, this is just a rumor.

I don't believe they are state material yet, they still have lots of room to improve on a lot of different things. Next year i think soddy will be a power house in basketball because the 3 top scorers so far have been 2 juniors and sophmore russel. The Trojans have a chance i think, not many people figured rhea would be a state team last year....

Very nice nokona, i believe soddy will defeat rhea and ooltewah this week and move up in your polls. Soddy beat notre dame by 6 points more than ooltewah, and also beat mcminn this summer twice without ricketts dobbs atchley or rende. It will be a "Barn Burner" though.

The trojans extended there undeafeated season this year to 7-0 against a tough red bank team. In my opinon red bank played a good game. Soddy couldn't get any of there shots to go down but somehow pulled out a victory right at the end. Congradulations trojans keep working hard!!!!!

Soddy would have beat them by a lot more than 16 if they would have played what they are good at. I was talking to a couple of the boys today and they said they spent most of the game working on defences that they weren't used to running and aren't good at running yet. They also worked on some new offences and stuff. I don't think they would have won by 62 but if they had played there best game it would have been a blowout. Coach Shumate felt they needed to work on some things against grundy instead of just blowing them out.

Sorry owlsfan10, i edited my post, i also belive rhea is a strong team those last 4 or 5 spots could belong to a number of teams (the teams u have listed, rhea, and grace) but it really looks good to me concidering how early in the season we are.

Good poll. I believe grace is a top 10 team though, just in my opinion.

It will be in the negative numbers Seriously i think it will be a good game though. Ooltewah has a good starting 5 but soddy has a deep bench and a lot of people who can score. Should be a very good game.

They looked good tonight in the 1st half against Brainerd, but fell apart in the 3rd quarter being outscored by about 16. If they can play in the 2nd half they will be tough.
