backr, did marion not lose anyone last year or something? as far as that district goes, i know hixson lost a lot, but what about grundy... losing woodlee, sitz, and their catcher hurt.

yeah csas, might have played ok in aa, but i really doubt that they'll dominate single a ball. lv usually has a good team, so i would consider both the frontrunners, and as always, it is who comes to play that wins.

in chattanooga: baylor and soddy both will be good. ooltewah has some experience. hixson and notre dame are good, yet young. just some thoughts.

umm. no. neither of those two guys. never heard of them. looking more of the likes of the guns in chattanooga. harris english, derek rende, kyle cothran, don franklin... just to name a few. there are plenty of young ones too... fresh. and soph.

well this was the furthest that a hixson team has ever gone, so i tip my hat to them.

wow, that is amazing. wasn't greenbrier ceded very low coming in to the district tournament based on their regular season district record? from somewhere i heard that, but i wasn't sure if it was hear-say or truth. but congrats to greenbrier for advancing.

wow that is one impressive run on sentence. well though they are sitting at home now they still won 2 out of 3 times. not that it matters in the regular season, but congrats to cleveland, and congrats to ooltewah for a splendid regular season.

too bad this poll isn't about the offensive production for chattanooga catchers... that award hands down goes to mark ramsey at hixson. the kid went 3-3 against mcminn central tonight and had 2 HRs; not to mention his 2 HR performance in the district championship last wednesday. if you're not a math whiz, that totals to 4 HRs in 2 games my friends.

up and down his last six games... well he's given up ONE HIT in 12 INNINGS! forget the past, the kid has no runs allowed, earned or unearned, and is 2-0 in his last two efforts. and you thought that hixson would make too many errors against a good hitting team? think again partner, b/c A) hixson didn't make any errors, and mcminn central must not be a hitting team after their performance on monday night. mcminn central goes home, and hixson plays on... that my friend is really all that matters.
