Hixon plays McMinn Central and Marion Co plays Walker Valley....hat are yalls predictions for these games?

This was a good game...but was long. It went 10 innings. Walker Valley won 9-8. The pitchers for Central were Nick Gibson, then Britt Shaw came in about the 4th or 5th and pitched all the way through the 10th, but Kurt Loveday came in to close for him. Im not sure of the names of the pitchers for Walker Valley.

How does everything look in this district....and who do the top two teams look like they will end up facing in the Region from 6-AA?

He deserved to be talked about....unlike some of us on here coughcoughBURNTcoughcough Another really good freshman in the McMinn Central line-up is Britt Shaw, Jeff Shaw (standout senior pitcher/middle infielder for the Chargers) little brother. This kid looks to follow in his brothers steps. He has a really strong arm and good control. Has a good bat too. yall should keep an eye on these two young'ns over the next few years. Should impress.

He put his name in there because he deserved to be included into that list. Him and Britt Shaw both should see a good amount of time in the field and on the hill as well for the Chargers this year. Plan on hearin these names for a few years to come!

I wanna find out some info on the Briarcrest Tourney. I think my coach may be interested in entering the tourney. Im from McMinn Central. If anyone can provide any info on this...I would be much abliged.

Alright. Lets get this straight. Guys and Girls ARE NOT physically equal. I dont care how many of you say they are...they just are not equal. I can see gurls wrestling guys at the low weight classes (103,112, & MAYBE 119) because they are CLOSER to being physically similar strength wise. But as you get up into the middle and upper classes, this changes DRASTICLY. If a gurl wrestles at these heavier weights, she may be similar is weight and hieght, but it is unlikely that she is NEAR as strong as the opposite sex. This can be dangerous. She becomes more likely to be hurt because she is not able to hold her own strength wise. Its the same in football. But unlike wrestlin, she wont be going up against guys her size all the time. They will almost ALWAYS be bigger and stronger. And the difference between wrestling and football, the guys that she has to go against, WILL try to hurt her. And I am tired of hearing that when a girl does join a team but doesnt get to play that it is because she is a girl. Its not. People say that girls can hit as hard as SOME of the guys, and run as "FAST" as some of the guys. But what they leave out, is of the guys that she is better than, how many actually do play. And like I said up top, guys and girls are just not build the same way. They arent. And no matter how many people say they are, they will never be equal in all aspects. It is as simple as that.

that's great news, that way when central wins, they wont be able to say it was cause they aint got enough classes filled....how many of the newbies are heavy weights? And who has to wrestle our 152? He is a beast!
