How do you figure the '88 & '89 teams were better than '96 or '04 to this point in the season? Don't get me wrong they were great teams, but they had weaknesses. The '88 & '89 teams were both one dimensional. The '96 team did not have any weaknesses offensively, defensively, or in the kicking game. They had quality depth on both sides of the ball. I see the same in the '04 team this year, I just wonder if they have the depth per position as the '96 team did.

Personally I think the DCA '96 was more athletic pure position than '04 team. They were more explosive per se. there were numerous games though the starters played a quarter and half total for the game.

I would have to say DCA(1996) played a little tougher schedule in the regular season and the playoffs(except the clinic bowl of course> 51 to 3<)

Is this year's DCA 2004 team better than DCA's 1996 state champ team at this point in the season?
