bigreese82 you may have more info on Goodpasture than the rest of us football junkies, and you may be right on your assessment of the move toward a spread offence, but to say that they will run a lot of it. :flower: I know the style of offence that Coach Martin runs, and I know the talent he has is not a D-1 QB. The D-1 talent is on the line and maybe fullback. Martin may need to go spread to move the QB so he can see down field. What does the line average 6'9 and 425. With G-P history with wing-T, I look for them to use that size when the season starts. What are they saying about Halfbacks? 08 was the Benny show and 07 along with Tracy Mayes and Goodloe. Do they have a Benny in the making?

Let me make sure that everyone understands what I’m saying. I don’t think that Goodpasture is cheating. I think that they are going by the rules lay down for them. If I were in their situation I would most likely do the same thing. The thing that bothers me that they try to pretend that everything is equal and all things are the same when they are not. Just say yea we get a few players that make us better every year that you can’t get. . I was in town and ran into some of the players and got a little info on the defense, while you have the players right some of the positions are mixed up. McEwen at one corner while Dixon/Nichols split time on the other side. Elrod looks to be the Free Safety and Johnson at Strong Safety. With that said, I think we will find a lot of answers as the boys get into pads this week. The D-line looks like it will be strong. I hope we can come up with the answers in the O-line. The BIG guys will decide how many wins we have this year!
