I have seen both teams this year and i have to give the edge to central by a saftey.

I will not make any excuses, if Bradley loses(i dont think we will) it is what it is. If polk wins more power to them, it will be a great year for them. Polk is a good team, but i think BC is a little better. I guess that is part of being alumni and having a child on the field.

So Coach J you watched Cleveland look likes a team on the first day of practice, a small line that couldnt even cut block, and wv barely score 2 tds on a team that probably couldnt beat a middle school team! and all you saw was BC get "spanked". If that was spanked what would you call the beating that polk is going to take on Friday! Let me guess when we win you will say that we should win "were a bigger school."

Loudon looked good , thats the first time ive seen a team out hit polk. Polk looked gassed after the first quarter.

Since i keep hearing about the injury bug, and rhea being young and rebuilding.im picking catholic 21 - 14 not trying to bash Rhea just playing the info. PS I would rather Rhea win since i live close

Charlie you sound like that bunch of "non-fans" from valley score board. I agree scrimmages dont tell every thing, a lot of the time they dont tell you anything. Besides they take a third of the game away in their design (special teams) not to mention (big MO) and that changes everything. As far as scheduling weak teams to scrimmage , with the Z plan your limited to the teams available to scrimmage that arent on your game schedule. Do i think that BC is a stud team no ! Do i think that they are a team and (team) being the key word,YES i think they can win 6 or 8 games and are capable of more. To make a statement that BC lost 95% of the off. is not accurate, last time i checked it takes 11 players on the field at a time. Charlie how about a friendly wager if BC loses 6 - 8 games like you say i will wear your teams shirt to the game of your choice, if they dont you wear a BC shirt for a picture and a game and stop bashing for a season! You game or just another arm chair quarter back, that couldnt play so you comment about things you know nothing about.

I dont think worried would be the correct word! Curious would be mort accurate. I was not impressed , not one little bit.Well thats not accurate, I was impressed by loudons "hitting". Im not going to bash polk ,but I was supprised, I thought by all the press that they would be better, stronger , faster, and bigger. Maybe they will play harder next week, and give us a good game, they were gassed, with hands on hipps at the end of the first quarter, against a smaller team with little to no depth. I was impressed with the heart of the kid , to come back from that terrible injury, he is a inspiration to us all.

My feelings aren't hurt,and my vision is 20/20 no black and gold tinted glasses needed. But thanks for caring. Yes , the jv did play and as for the way they turned out, i only remember last year.I was sitting in the stands with a polk varsity line up and watched 5 kids play that started on the varsity.No thats not rumor , just a simple fact. and they barely beat us at their home field and we only had soph. and freshman on the field. But the score board did say polk won, and i guess thats the way it is. As for endurance, I dont see a edge either way, polk is tough , hard nosed, and always play to the end. Now i gave them the props they deserve, im going to stand by my prediction(hopefuly i wont need that ketchup to eat my words) After just watching BC scrimmage Hixson(i know they are not as good as polk) I think the D played even better tonight as players start to settle into positions. As for the O less sub. tonight (stopped the fumbles) started to click and looked much improved. Im not hateing on polk i wish them a good injury free season and hope the make play offs, but in my humble opinion the will come up short on week one by the score of BC 28 Polk 14

What scrimmage did you watch exactly!! We beat south pit,boyd buchannon,mcminn central, in every series except one goal line series to mcminn central. If BC is that bad what does that say about the other teams? Yes they were smaller div. schools,but quality teams, year after year. Coach Floyd played just about every off. player on the roster, so he could get a look at them in "game conditions" . Its not like BC game planned for a scrimmage! Polk Co. always plays hard, having said that they are slower, smaller and have a new off. cord. this year. They may be able to put up a good effort in the first quarter,but the bears size and quickness will take over starting in the second quarter and becoming a slaughter in the second half.print this out and save it, nostradamous couldnt be any better at this prediction.
