Your really torn up about that reciver's thing aren't you. I think I know who you are. Somebody told me you was Dominique Johnson, that guy who played running back a couple of years ago. That's not true though. Your either the parent of number 7 this year (who is a receiver) or you are number 7. I'll go with the latter.

My son was number seven, graduated in 08, my number was also seven at franklin high school in 1982, i have two sons that currently play for forrest.

Can't speak for LTR, but I became a moderator on the glorious day of May 26, 2004.

What are the qualifications for a moderator? I'm relatively new to coacht so i have no clue what a moderator is.

I didn't blame it on the receivers I blamed it on the coach who has no confidence in them, which would make any observer belive that he doesn't. This is an opinion board if you or your son believes everything on hear then you got some growing up to do. I hope your son plays out of this world and takes the rockets far into the playoffs, they deserve it. I think they have a good shot but they will have to really step it up because they are average this year (which isn't a bad thing no pre madonnas). MTCS has athletes, Forrest does too except for them receivers , should be a goodun.

Since when is "average" an insult? Maybe to the kid whose mommy and daddy has told them otherwise. They are still average sorry if it hurts your feelings but its not an insult. If they were above then they would be headed to college to play, heck Abrigo was a real threat and the best recevier we have had in a long time and he was above average but not great, and they still didn't throw the ball. Get over it, I'm for the Rockets, but play the best you have. Your posts make no sense, you must be on the sidelines. Your right it is my own thoughts but I have not insulted one player on the team (except you), if you've read I said they all play with lots of heart.

Calling a player average is not an insult, you are correct on that, but blaming the reason why forrest doesnt pass on the receivers is stupid, it brings the kids down, cause i know dang well that they get on here and read this, i know this for a fact because my son and his friends do all the time, im not on here to argue, im trying to explain to you that what is said on this website is viewed by the players, and blaming the reason why the team doesnt pass on two players probably makes them feel like crap coming from a "forrest fan". The critical expert is back. Good win Rockets. As for the changes in the defense and those players getting burnt, well one week of practice isn't enough to prepare a new guy on defense. If they would have been there since July they may not have been burnt. Hopefully they will stick with the talent and bring it along. As for the receivers, who knew they could catch, heck we passed more in the Cornersville game in quarter one than all the rest combined. I never said they weren't capable, but the past actions of the coach signaled that they couldn't catch cause we didn't throw. By the way we didn't destry the bulldogs we made a couple key plays and won the game. Got to clean up the pass defense and keep improving day to day. The popcorn was good, and I think I was sitting beside the wizardofthesaddle in the stands. Maybe not I'm confused I think you were down with the fence coaches or on the video cameras lmao.

The rockets seem to be unbeatable at home but weak on the road, as LTR said, it is imperative that the rocket secondary step and defend a very well coached mtcs team.

Hey There Rocket7 ......You are absolutely Right! Where is Critical Expert Now? The guy must be in a spider hole somewhere because he really looks like a fool now! It is easy to say negative comments about high school players when you are sitting in the stands chomping on popcorn. This guy that was insulting the Rockets has probably never put on a jock!! But what I find absolutely fantastic was the way that the enire Forrest Rocket Team Responded. The coaches actually discovered that they have a quaterback that can successfully and acurately throw the ball. On top of that it became apparent that the Rocket receivers are awesome too! This opens up the run game and makes for a much more exciting offense that is unpredictable. The

rest of the season will prove to be exciting for the Rocket Faithful if the team follows the same game plan that they

used to destroy the Bulldogs last night! Go Rockets!

CB 10, you are also correct, the game was much closer than the score indicated, it would be nice to see Rogers and Pope play to make the match more even.

There were a couple of defensive changes (saftey) that didn't make much difference. These guys got burnt, too. If Cornersville could catch we'd have been in a mess.

Things were fine like they were. No need to discourage the ones removed from their starting roles. Just my two cents worth.

LTR, you are 100% correct, someone must step up and play in the secondary along with Anderson and horvath or mtcs will have their way with the forward pass.

Put #1(Leonard) in the shotgun (then he has time) with #10(Ray) in the backfield and have #12(Horvath) and #36(Allen) as the recievers so you can throw the ball. Then put #10(Ray) and #36(Allen) as your corners with #12 (Horvath) as free safety. You put your best athletes on the field if you want to win. Sorry but the other defenders are very average players and you aren't going to win with them defending the pass. The other recievers are also very average and thats why we run 40+ times. We are to easy to defend face it!

So I'm guessing them receivers are pretty good after the cornersville game or did they just get lucky?
