s.c. will field a good team this year but t.c. will field a better team.after this year s.c. will start down hill and manyord knew this. t.c. on the other hand will be loaded again.creasey can read between the lines.i will be shocked if he takes it.

IF that his reference, then it is comletely legal for both athletes and non-athletes, a lot of privates schools do that. It is a work study program that does exactyl what you say work for tuition breaks. Again just throwing out terms that stir it up instead of doing a little homework. I wonder if some people are just mad because their kid is not being "recruited" by a private school.

no they just don't like it because it's an unfair advantage.public schools have to play with what they have.and it makes it easy pickings for all private schools to play a public.

tssaa is one big joke.all about the money and who ever can help them the most with money.all privates should play privates.tssaa ant fool'n nobody.and what a mess in the play-off system.

sure is alot of big talk from the bunch that dropped the hardest team on their schedule. why did they drop t.c. --the simple fact they could not beat them and it was a a loss to them.and yes s.c. might beat m.c. and everybody else they play on the regular schedule but the fact remains the hardest team on the schedule was dropped. a smaller school only 15 miles away.

Hey 60cheetor, I would bet that if your Macon Co. Tigers were undefeated, you would not be on this forum under another screen-name posting how unfair it is. I don't see any post on Friendship Christians boards about it being unfair for you to get beat 48-6 from a 1A school. I wouldn't be that worried about private schools that much. You haven't even won against a public this year. Public schools have handed you most of your losses. White House is a public school and will be crowning you 0-8 come Friday night. I'm sorry, I don't feel your pain. I think GP with 347 students playing Macon with 913 students is unfair, but that is how it is, if you think it should be different then go work for TSSAA and cry to them.

im not from macon kitty brown, i've done made it plain on here im from westmoreland and yes there have been post on the friendship boards. I DID'NT ask you to feel any pain just keep on taking lunch money away. i have posted on macon threads, got close kin in the program and it's just like a rich kid with everything to make fun of a winless program. gee maybe next year tssaa will let yall have more time-outs or let you offer a sign'n bonus.

Some counties only have 1 or 2 small cities and tssaa does not allow any players transfering outside county lines, unless the parents move as well. you can not come back with anything that makes it fair. i can show and tell ya all rules. bottom line the reason some privates schools are getting away with this $$$$$$$$$$$$. go to tssaa.org and look under are you eligble and tell me all public's have open enrollment.

 

No I am not wrong. What I am saying is that TSSAA has set the rules, and you dont like it. Ok we all get it! I did not say all public's have open enrollment. I said the schools that have the best advantage under this system are public's with open enrollment. As you know, there are threads on CoacT set up for this "public vs private" debate. Why dont you go post on those threads, or write as many letters as you want to TSSAA because they make the rules, we just play by them. This is suppose to be about the boys! Nothing you say will change the rules as they are set up right now! So why do you continue to complain. Alcoa has beat us at State 3 out of the last 4 years. They have open enrollment, and they are a great team. Do I complain about that, NO. I say good for them. I know in the long run it makes Goodpasture better. Our school can either complain or work harder. We choose to work harder. So stop the bickering, and lets talk about the boys!

I dont know if you have heard but they just got done with realignment. Goodpasture has 350 students and they are playing in 3A. Also, the region they are in now is all 4A teams except for one. And yes, we do like milk and cookies!

IT DOES NOT MATTER IF GOODPASTURE HAS 100 STUDENTS, if they get to hand pick the best players. what does the enrollment mean, if you get the best players you can have. THE enrollment means nothing when you get to pick the best of the best. you let me pick who i want and i'll play anybody and i don't care if their enrollment is 3000 or 1000 or 400. Tssa is wrong bad! and you are if you think it's big to beat a public school who does not have these LUX. i HATE TO THINK IF I COULD RECRUITT I COULD'NT BEAT A PUBLIC SCHOOL. THIS WAS A GREAT GAME. Alot of mistakes by both players and coaches. But the boys played their butts off and never quit. A person can tell that the players respect the coaches. I'd rather see this and go 0-10 this year,. as to see the way it's been the last 4 years. None of them should even be aloud in the stadium, much less on or around the field.

I really wish that people would give our Coaches and Players a chance and not knock them every chance they get. Give the players the chance to learn this new system, I have been at the games and I can see a difference in how these boys carry themselves. They dont quit, they keep going and trying. Also they don't hang their heads down. I would like to see people just rally around and support our coaches and players. Go Tigers.

OK, Paul is an idiot but he may be on to something. The MCHS offense is doing well and being called by head coach, but the defense is horrible. The head coach may not be the one to repalce, but maybe we should look at our defensive coordinator. 159 points in 3 games is unacceptable. Come on Goolsby and surround yourself with some knowledgable coaches and ones that can still coach or Paul may be proven right!

YOU moron. Do u think he ain't got the best out there? We've been out weighed, out sized, out aged, out everything. HE is honest and fair and will put the best 11 on D. We have a young football team with a lot of players playing without any experience. Some of the teams you could have put 15 on the field and they still would have probably gained some yards. Not to mention, we have several starters out with injuries. Where have you been? Hudson held this team together last year and I'll guarantee the players respect him because he earned it. He's the only reason that some of these boys will be able to say that they played all four years. You little vol. know very little about the MCHS team or coaches. You just stick to Pee Wee and leave the HS to Goolsby, Hudson, and their posse.

Thats good. Why dont you wrap all the public schools regardless of size in a ball and let them play each other. Im sure that would be the only fair way to do it. If that was the case, Alcoa would be beating up all the public's and Goodpasture would have a couple more state titles!.......................It does not make sense does it!

Public schools can't get anybody out of it's county lines. Private schools can recruit anywhere from japan to canada. And the hit them with a little multy-plier and say it's even. GIVE ME A BREAK. Yall got all the money and get to pick the best of the best. Throw all private schools in a wadd and let them play each other. It's the only fair way.
