The doctor thinks his ACL and MCL are torn. He had an MRI Monday 9/14, and will get the results Tuesday 9/15. Let's keep him in our thoughts and prayers, maybe the Doctor is wrong this time. Any news about Devin Rogers. Will He be back for Crocket?

Franklin is out for a whiile at least with a torn MCL. Doctors have scheduled surgery and say he could possibly be back in two weeks after that. Rogers will not be starting tonight with his shoulder problem. One of our linebackers is out with a broken finger, I think he is to go today too have pins in it. Don't know about Mutter, but I think he will start. I hope all the injured have a speedy recovery, and good luck to them. As for the game I think Volunteer will bring home the trophy tonight, but it will be tough. you have several players playing both sides of the ball because of injuries. We will not only be fighting our opponent, but also fatigue. Good Luck to the Team

I was complimenting Arnold along with Crow, which by the way I'm not his father either. I don't care who runs the ball as long as we make some progress. I would like to see William run the ball from tailback. He has speed and size. give me a break, reading the Tri-cities Sports stats can't tell you everything about the game. Roger's best at Elizabethton, I think 104 yards. We were getting slaughtered, the jayvee defense was in ,and that was when he got most of his yardage, and his touchdown. Against North he had I think 83 yards on 22 carries, mostly around the end. #29 , 1 carrie for 14 yards up the middle dragging 3 defenders. It's easy to blame someone, and the whole team seems to need work in some area or another. But when your QB is consistintly getting sacked or running for his life, your tail back can barely get his hands on the ball, then it throughs alot of focus on the O-Line. So as I said you can't base everything on stats in Tri Cities Sports, They won't tell you when 80 of the 104 yards are against the 3rd string defense!!!!!!!!!!!

29's yards were in the second quarter after Rogers injury. After halftime coaching moved and subed players on the O-line which resulted in disaster. Arnold could not touch the ball before 4 D-linemen were on top of him. If you had seen the game you would know what I'm talking about. Stats in "Tri-cities sports" can't tell you that , only the progress made in the game.

I would like to add that #4 Jake Crow did an awesome job at filling Franklin's shoes. And #29 Arnold carried the ball well.

It looks like Franklin is out for the year with serious knee injury. One of the players told me that Rogers shoulder is swelled really bad. They are thinking it is a torn rotator cuff. If so he will also be out for the season.
