Bayou, I was wondering ,even though it will be a public school will they be offering finacial aid to wrestlers... errr..... I mean students who have to comute from other areas of the county?

For all those that missed it......Kennedy was wrestling Seymour's 189. Mike picked him up and slammed him. It WAS NOT an illegal slam IMO, but it was a hard slam. The ref dropped to the mat and began to count backpoints. The ref recognized the wrestler was hurt and stopped the match for injury time. He then signaled the slam was illegal. I repeat, he didn't call the slam illegal when it happened but only after the match was stopped. The Seymour wrestler couldn't continue which be rule means Kennedy is DQ'd. At the point when injury time expires the coach has the option to forfeit the match instead. He did this and has earned my respect forever.

And that friends is what makes this the greatest of all highschool sports. Character speaks for itself.

wrestling with a broken bone is not as painful as wrestling with ligament damage. A dislocated elbow is quite painful and if he required surgery to fix it the odds of anyone wrestling are very slim. You cant really wrestle if you cant bend you arm.

I would say that's right except I think Kyle Maynard showed us anything could happen.

Same question i've read on here that you post, the difference is I was big enough to ask or not scared or whatever. I don't know why you didn't. You were right over there with them why didn't you ask?

Well hope y'all enjoy your runner up trophy, but if Bradley really wanted to wrestle both these teams they could have signed up for the Cleveland duals so why did they not sign up for that tourney, where they could have wrestled both...........why excuses that's why. That's ok drink your kool aid, wrestle the same five teams y'all always do, the D-II teams wrestle the hardest schedules, and that can't be disputed.

You could of went to the Bears and asked all the question you wanted but you didn't? I have and they answered all my question, I might not agree with them on all they do but give them thier due.

Da Bears, others may have more knowledge on the mat but as far as I can tell when it comes to the Menus at the Venues you have no rivals. Could you give us a run down of what you look for, taste, quantity, ability to satify stomach space vs. cost. Some may think I'm kidding but for a 225 lber I can put my share of plates in the dishwasher. If you ever go to Lancaster Pa. Go to Miller's kind of pricey but they give you a half off ticket for your next visit. It's buffet and I would put them up against anybody. Salads ,soups, comfort foods, entree's, deserts, breads, it's unreal how large a selection they have and how good it is.

Da Bears, since you travel well in the highschool venues why don't you give your top 25 places and foods to eat at while travling the circuit. And Iknow you are a business man, have you owned a restaurant?

Ernie Rose from the old Chattnooga Kirkman school won 3 title in the 60's all at 185 I think. and Glad you mentioned Carlos Thompson . He has 9 or 10 state championship rings in wrestling, football and track, individual and team combined, I think.

Also Ernie won best wrestler in 67, and Ronald Moyers won at 145 in 65 and 66. Also for Chattanooga Kirkman.

Or is it that people have to leave the comfort of Chattanooga to come to the event.

Wasn't the state duals held in Clarksville? I'm pretty sure you have to leave Chattanooga to get there.

It should be a tradition to have coach Lennon tell his stories about his mother and how much her house grew when her sons were wrestling. A true wrestling mom but from what I've heard a Great Lady.
