Watched Cookeville play two games, they looked good. This was after the got beat by Crossville. I realy like their chemisty, they play hard, hit very well, pretty good defense...pitching is looking good also. They hit well against Crossville the 2nd game and did a great overall effort today against Oak Ridge. Cant wait to see them play Manchester. That will be a good match up.
  2. Three players from Cookeville have alot of potential, Colby Harmon, Jared Davis and Ethan Davis. These guys have game and should put up good numbers in 2011. The Cavaliers have more good players, but watch these three.

"vikings444"] First of all, Kudos to Cookeville. They are a very good team that wanted it more than us last night. You all played hard and got the hits when you needed them. NOW, to address the STUPID comment above. Not going to address the comment about Davis being slow. Think he showed last night that he can heat it up when needed. Being able to throw heat every pitch does not make for a great pitcher. Being able to throw MANY different pitches makes for a great pitcher. Also being able to control the runners on base and not letting them get into his head. OH, and lets not forget the AWESOME pickoff move he executed several times for pickoffs! Now to the comment about your third baseman being the only one who can hit slow pitches. I'm glad he can hit slow pitching because he sure can't field a ground ball. See you tonight. Oh, by the way, what IS the going rate for a one sided umpire in Cookeville these days. Guess we will find out tonight, if it is anything like last year!!!!!!!!
