True...but I am worried about our depth behind the starters.  I have never seen so many short skinny kids.  We have a good weight program, but only if the kids will eat.

Hey Chief. How did the scrimmage with S Gibson go last month?? A lot of folks in medina have high expectations this year. Just curious if they had anything for my Dawgs?? Hope you are doing well!!

They outscored us by four scores....our Defense is struggling up front due to graduation and injuries.  We should be more solid when the season starts.  SG didn't pass too much, but they didn't need to.  They ran the ball about 85% of the time.  Their Defense kept Abernathy scrambling.

Abernathy has one Div I offer on the table...and it is way early.  I expect several others to follow...

I remember seeing the qb last year at the scrimmage in Alamo and I thought that kid was pretty good. Did he graduate??

Abernathy will be a Senior this season....he returns with a wealth of receiver talent to choose from.  I'm not worried about our offense, but our defense will have to get some kids to step up and be leaders.

Camden will be average unless their pitching can improve before season end....

Do you guys have a candidate to replace that stud running back Chief??

We do not have anyone with the same level of talent, but we will still have someone who will get the job done.  They may just have to carry the ball about a dozen more times to get the same amount of yardage.  Passing game should be much better than last year with this crop of Seniors playing.

Camden will have a very strong Senior class this year.  I think they have the potential of winning the District and making it to the second round.  That seems to their brick wall.  Not enough talent to get over that hump.

They beat us at home earlier, but we lead 3 out of 4 quarters. Just got into foul trouble in the 4th and they walked away with it. I think we can beat them in Camden.

Incredible game....Camden is going to make some noise this year...I think that dunk caused serious depression for the opposition.

We did lose some big shoes in 3 year starting LB Dalton Whitfield, and RB Deshawn Brown. We do return our QB Hayden Abernathy, who threw for over 1,000 yards this season. I know some teams laugh at that amount of yardage, but for Camden, that is a huge number of passing yards. We also have a stable of receivers returning and most of both the offensive and defensive line.

I realistically like Camden's chances of getting past the 2nd round next year...

I keep hearing about the running back for Camden...What about the Quarterback? Does he have an arm do they throw the ball much. Is he a runner too or just hand it off. Heritage has a Soph QB that has steadily inproved over the year. He will be a stud by his Senior yr. Has a good arm now but just wait for a little more experience. Very glad to have these extra playoff games only helps for experience factor. Will be coming to the game do you guys usually get off at Birdsong rd or go on down the interstate?

He has a strong arm and can pick a defense apart...if the line will give him more than 4 seconds to get rid of the ball. Our receivers routinely get separation from the defenders...
