You know, thats a good point When I started this topic, i didn mean for it to become a bash the coach, and I am sorry if that is what I started - really i am. I was sayin that there are several things i see on friday nite that make me beleive the program needs a new direction. that happens in sports all the time. Teams replace coaches cause they "feel the team needs a new direction" or "feel the team needs a fresh aproach." I honestly think that, because of the negativty I see on friday night that the team would be better off with a new direction. That is all I meant. I don't know if the powers-that-be feel the same way, I was making an observation. As for those who say this board isn't for that or we need to post our real names, I disagree. This board is to talk about football. That includes the negativ things we see or think. I do agree that we shouldn't say personal, hurtful things. I sure hope I wasn't taken that way. So, I do feel Peabodys football team needs a new leader. I will leave it at that. It is my simpl opinion.

And from what I can tell, there are very few sophmors seeing any playin time. If you are a pioneer, I think you have enough to worry about with what you people call a football team. Absolutely pitiful.

In over thirtyfive years of watchin Peabody football, I have never heard so many people frustrated with how things are. Anyone in the stands can see the lack of discipline, the negativity from the head coach, and the general poor attitude of the players. Good grief, are we supposed to be happy with a 16-6 win over Greenfield? You gotta be kiddin me. It was bad under Davis back in the early 80s. It was bad under Graves in the late 80s. This is worse. Will someone in charge please step up and make a change? This ship is sunk.
