    9/22 - @ Mt. Pleasant

    9/29 - Bruceton

    10/6 - @ Huntingdon

    10/13 - McEwen

    10/20 - @ Perry Co.

    10/27 - Collinwood

    I like it, I'm surprised Scotts Hill isn't on there. I thought it was a done deal, I wonder what happened? I'd also like to know what the deal is with Lewis Co....? It seems 1A is getting weaker every realignment.

    Collinwood High School (Collinwood, TN)

    Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central High School (Bruceton, TN)

    Huntingdon High School (Huntingdon, TN)

    McEwen High School (McEwen, TN)

    Middleton High School (Middleton, TN)

    Perry Co. High School (Linden, TN)

    Wayne Co. High School (Waynesboro, TN)

     

    WC will have 4 non-region games(had 3 last two years). I say Mt. Pleasant and Scotts Hill will be back on the sceduale. It would be nice to get Lewis Co or Cascade back on there.

    Anyone have an idea of what the sceduale will look like? WC should be competing for the region title against Huntingdon again. I hate to use the word "disappointment" but I think anything less than 2nd place would be. I understand WC won't be as strong but the fall shouldn't be to far.

    Well it would seem you doubt everything I been saying. Yes I'm married,yes I'm old enough, I got a 16 year old son (which is probably close to your agenda, yes I think Dresden Wins by 20 .

    Please, will you have one of the other Dresden folk teach you how to type with a quote. It's getting ridiculous lol

     

    Also, what do you mean by agenda...?

    He will be hard to handle for sure. This is going to be a dang good game!

    I honestly believe it will be, this is a game you won't want to miss.

     

    WC's defense has been really impressive. Idk much about Dresden other the Hudl videos I've watched, but they look like a very good team. Winn can make throws most college players can't make....so can Rice. I hope Yates is as good as you Dresden folks say, because I know Birchett will be as advertised.

    I stated on another thread how play calling has been an issue for us at times. I am on the inside and maybe can't see the forest because of the trees. Just curious from the WC perspective, did you all feel like we got away from the run game and threw it way to much? I thought our backs were having success.

    I think the play calling was just fine. NCS has a very good QB and should be used just as much. He made a couple of ify throws but so did Rice, it isn't always perfect. You can't get frustrated and want to abounded something that works. I'll uses Rice as an example again, for every bad throw he has made, he has made 15-20 great throws. WC wouldn't be here without Rice's arm. It would have probably been beneficial For NCS to run #11 & #26 more, but your QB picked up some first downs with his throwing and his running. I think you folks have a very good coach. He made some really good calls that tricked WC's defense. I haven't seen that happen this year. It was a good football game. Again, you folks have a very respectful bunch.

    Congrats Wildcats! It isn't over yet, keep it up! You boys played hard out there tonight. It was one of the more physical games WC has had this year. NCS (mainly #11) was laying some big hits. Congrats to NCS, you all have a very respectful group of kids. I hate to see kids play their last game. The final walk is the hardest part.

    For all the talk about the offense, the defense has given up just 50 points total for the last 8 games. Most of those points has been after the starters were out. This will be a hard fought game. NCS will not give up that quest for another gold ball easily. Just feel WC may get them this time.

    I'm glad someone mentioned the defense for once. I honestly believe that's what wins championships. The '09 & '11 teams were so good because of it, just like this years team. This group had one bad game, Scotts Hill. Other than that, they've held teams to their lowest score all year (when varsity is in). Anyways...

     

    #9 Harris is a playmaker at OLB. We have a good group of LBs. Birchett makes quick reads and gets to the ball fast. I'd like to know how many INTs WC has this year.

    Disclaimer so I don't get roasted, the line has played good and the secondary too. I'm just an ex-LB, so it's a joy for me to watch them play good ball.

    Man, seems like there is a big disconnect between fellas like Croz and actual members of the Gordonsville program. I hope you weren't actually suggesting that you won a state championship by stealing opponents' plays. If that's not what you meant you need to edit your post because that's what Wildcat was suggesting and you seem to confirm it.

    Agreed... He must be a Patriots fan.
