Nelson IS a GREAT coach. Just seems like the Rebels have had problems in the post season. In the past ten years, they've made it to substate twice, but lost both times. They've drawn a couple of tough cards like playing the home team in the districts at Blount a couple of years ago and now Clinton this year. They got screwed in the Clinton game last year even though it shouldn't have been close. They just didn't live up to expectations even when Humphreys was there.

That's good news on Sax. Rebels could win the region except they got a history of not getting in done in the tourney. They've beat Powell already, and back when they weren't playin so well too. They've beat Oak Ridge too. Not sure I've seen Clinton play, but if they barely beat Bearden in their own house and with one of the bulldogs out, then Maryville should be able to take them too.

I'm an idiot and I hate myself. Thank you for the clarification. What I meant to say was that MHS was playing Halls but it is obviously beyond my intellect to communicate that in writing.

I've seen everyone in this bracket play except for Halls. Who's good? Who do you all think will come away with it? If the Rebels didn't choke in the postseason every year, I'd pick them, because I definitely think they are the best team in the bracket....at least in the regular season.

only saw SD play once...against Maryville. wasn't impressed with your defense at all. you guys can straight score, but D ain't your thing. it's a lot like the Suns or the Sonics in the bigs right now. or maybe you just had an off game against a good team. lightfoot can flat out ball. he should see the ball more.

I'm saying you're pathetic BECAUSE the Maryville side had three times as many students. It's a home game, you should represent if you want to talk about how great your section is. If the visiting team has three times as many fans, then you should shut up about it and accept it. I'm sure that it sounded good from where you were standing, but from across the court it wasn't loud at all. You won the game though, that's all that matters.

The Marsh Pit was really weak. I think that you could sum all 9 of them up in the words of Shakespeare: "full of sound and fury...signifying nothing." They didn't make any noise until the game was decided and played no role in the outcome.

I can't name ten beter. Haven't seen him yet this season, but watched him ball the past couple of years. He even broke down Lee Humphrey once a couple of years ago. Is tdub a senior now?

last year's games were good. this one should be too. ahs didn't get it done against AE. mhs overcame against blount. both teams will be up for tonight. b/c maryville has more guys who have been playing all season i think they'll win.
