  1. It's called KARMA...live by the flag...die by the flag. Simple poetic justice. Now AC's fans can feel Clinton's pain...too cute.
  2. Thanks futbolfan! Im not bitter. Im disappointed that we lost, but to be honest, i didnt think we would make it all the way to the championship anyway. I was very surprised that we went through the season undefeated. I thought our offensive line was our team's weakness and thought it would get us beat eventually. I would love to come watch AC play friday, but the game is just too far away for me to travel. Im gonna stick a little closer to home and probably go watch Grace. Good Luck and God Bless! OFFENSIVE LINE A WEAK SPOT!? Hazlehurst runs for 1300+ and the team posts 2200 yards + and a WEAK O-LINE gets you beat?! Come on 92D...
  3. Idcoach has the right idea in regards to bias and unfair treatment of teams. It's not okay that the officials get to impact games the way they do, but it's part of a larger system. I just hope the same system doesn't come back to bite AC further down the road. Here's hoping the Mavs make use of the win and take care of business representing the county with a win. Remember through all this the stats don't lie. People will remember the numbers.
  4. I knew these refs were local, at least the one patrolling Clinton's sideline, not the clock operator, the other guy with his head firmly lodged elsewhere. The guy's a joke. Classic napoleon complex. It's like he couldn't hack it as a coach/player, perhaps has a grudge levied against certain schools but the fact of the matter is he's a chump...classic little man, wouldn't surprise me a bit if he was a member of the band in high school and upon graduation became a cop or referee to levy his revenge. I am not sure of his name but he is always good for a laugh. I had the esteemed pleasure of being in the same vicinity as this gentleman the night after the Campbell Co. game last year and heard him and his other little minions dispensing several disparaging remarks about the school. Like I said, it's okay though. AC deserved the win for how hard they fought and the fact that Clinton stop the short passing game ALL night. AC watched game film...they did their homework...but let's not just chalk it up to: "They made plays tonight...they just outplayed us." Take some credit coach, we didn't adjust...it's a team game right? Again though, great season and some of the best football I've ever had the privilege of watching.
  5. Would anyone care to know that Clinton was flagged for 100 penalties totaling 858 yards this season? While the opposition was flagged for 46 penalties totaling up at 386 yards? You can't blame a difference like that on "discipline". We knew when the playoff game at AC kicked off that AC would get the calls when they needed them. The ref along Clinton's sideline is a very biased man that tried everything in his power to throw the game Campbell Co.'s way last year (between Clinton and CC at CC). On paper this was the closest game this year as far as penalties are concerned but everyone there knows that without the refs AC doesn't score on that last drive. It's okay...the kids accept it and everything but count me as one fan that won't be drinking the kool-aid. The TSSAA might as well take tips directly from the NCAA...what a joke. All things considered AC will be good for a LONG time, that coach is great and does a better job with less talent than the opposition. With the talent in Clinton and the new coaches at AC and OR it should be an interesting few years in Anderson Co. Good luck to AC, great season Dragons and best of luck Seniors.
