Where are the updates? I see that Upperman beat Stone Memorial by 1, but thats their only score posted. How have there other games gone so far?

I do think that LA has the ability to win this game. However, they are going to have to play better than they have in the past two weeks. I see LA coming out strong and taking this game and getting back on track.

I hope you are correct BigDaddy. Although it is still very early in the season, LA needs to come away with a win. If my memory serves me correctly, Coach Melton has only had 1 3-game skid in his career at Livingston Academy. Should be a great game as Cookeville always has an intense crowd.

What are some thoughts on this year's Cookeville team? They play Livingston Academy on Tuesday night on their home floor. Should be a big game as LA is hungry for a win.

Rabbit, explain to me how me saying this team has to work harder makes me not a "true fan". Maybe I should have said we aren't That good "right now", so the women like you don't get too excited. I must be more of a fan than you, because true fans, like me, stand by their team even when they are down, but still be someone honest enough to say "this isn't going to cut it". I know this team can do it, but they aren't working right now...sorry if that makes me a "bad fan" who isn't going to lie just to make every one feel better.

I hate to bust the LA bubble,but the Wildcats just are not very good. Maybe with a lot of work LA can get back to being a good team. From what I heard from the broadcast,becoming a good team isn't going to happen over night.

Livingston Academy Wildcats play the Dyer County Choctaws tonight at 7:30pm in Dyer County. If the CoachT schedules are correct, Dyer County is undefeated so far this year to follow up their impressive 31-3 record from last year. This should be a great, early season test for both teams. What are some thoughts? I'm gonna say LA takes this one by single digits.

Predictions: LA goes undefeated in the district...Again! Best Players: Senior=TJ Smith "Livingston Academy" (yet to see is A game though) Freshmen= Mason Ramsey "Livingston Academy" (will be best player in district by tourney time) Thoughts: 2nd & 3rd place race will be interesting Questions: Is LA really going to be a better overall team than last year?

LA wins 74-62. I didn't miss my prediction by much. LA was led by freshman Mason Ramsey with 20. TJ Smith scored 14, Logan Ramsey had 13, Kailen Melton had 11, Brad Jackson had 6, Kendall Melton had 5, Colby Reeder had 3, and Jake Huitt had 2. Red Bank's top scorer was Davis with 24. Not sure about the others. LA looked very sharp tonight. I think it is safe to say that with a coach like Melton, this team will more than likely be back to the state tournament this year. GO LA!

Mason Ramsey hits a 3 to open up the second half for LA. He leads LA with 11 points so far.. This kid appears to be the real deal.

Halftime Score LA - 31 RB - 28 LA is still a little rusty, but overall they are playing well. They young Ramsey has impressed me so far. He plays very well for a freshman. Jackson has played well also. Should be a great 2nd half.

Happy Birthday Kendall Melton. Maybe he will have a big game for LA tonight.
