I'm just excited to see what material nrgrizzlies has in store for tomorrow night from the stands... I'm guessing he'll start with a little "It's the coaching!!" and maybe follow that up with some "I don't actually know anything about football, but...... YEA, it's the coaching!" , and then maybe switch to a little "I contribute nothing to the program except my complaints!!!" Could be a HUGE night for nrgrizzlies.

I sure hope the bad attitude issues this team dealt with last year have been resolved

Greg Jenkins was one of the greatest of all time.

The first thing Coach Stevens needs to do when he gets to Lavergne is to get some of the talent in the halls down to the football field... I believe former Lavergne standout Marcus Booker's younger brother, Malcom is a sophomore at LHS, and would light the field on fire if Coach can get him suited up.

Whats the outlook on the 2010 White House football team? How will they stack up in their district? Who will fill skills positions and be on the line?
I'd say next year's squad looks to have at least as many cowboy collars as anyone they will play, and twice as many mustaches.

I have it on VERY good authority that Doug Capella will be named the next head coach at LHS, assuming he does not accept the siegel job.
Doug is a TEACHER first. a coach second. His commitment to academics is truly inspiring.

I'll never forget that time coach got so mad at Larry Miller that he ripped helmet off in the middle of practice and threw it in the trash can! That memory, and that one season where he wouldn't let us drink water before, during, or after practice are what I love about coach!

When a QB throws a ball from his own 12 yard line and the receiver catches it on the opposite 34 (thats 54 yards...had to get my calculator out....i only have 10 fingers and 8 toes)....the reciever never alters his route, never speeds up or slows downs....54 yards full stride....I think it would be considered a great throw
Whoa, simmer down buddy! I wasn't taking a shot at Wallace at all. The kid has a rocket arm. I was just making the point that the receivers were VERY open, and Greeneville's secondary could not run with them.
I was just asking Greeneville if secondary play had been a problem all season. Fair question I think, considering it was the difference in an otherwise evenly matched game.
-
Bocephus you are a dillweed. Instead of saying great passes and catches by 12 & 14 from Giles you bad mouth Greeneville that played hard nosed football. You're top notch aren't ya?
footballfame54....you are a loser.
I wouldn't call them great passes or catches... they didn't have to be particularly good, because the receivers were so far behind the secondary. Just making a statement, and asking why Greeneville's secondary was so bad. I'm not trying to rip on these kids or anything, but given the scores that were given up i think it's a fair question, and don't see why you need to resort to name calling.
Was this a problem all season?

I am a faithful giles county fan who was a casual observer of greenville fan posts and how much trash you talked during the playoffs dont be mad now that you lost cause if you had won we would have heard it. We should have beat you by more cause your db's are terrible. I'm gonna rub it in go bobcats.lol NOBODY REMEMBERS SECOND PLACE. BYE BYE CAINE TRAIN
LOL
The only thing your doing is making Gilles co. look bad. I hope no one from Greeneville takes his bait. If you just let him talk and dont reply he will stop.
agreed, classless post, but he's right about the db's. How do you make it to the state finals with a secondary that is that bad?
-
Congrats to Giles co.
did no one explain to the Greeneville db's before the game that in football, the other team is allowed to pass, and when they do, it is necessary to cover them?

Austin East? Those boys still have a football program up there?

yea well i'm sorry, i'm sorry that i'm busy with football practice, school, and work and that i don't spend every waking moment on coacht, i'm sorry that i actually HAVE A LIFE!!!........oh and budkilmer (i think thats how it is spelled), thanks for the info, i didn't know he was gone. i appreciate it.
Go to class, son. You don't get to waste your days away on coacht until you start working

I have seen LSU's QB play and as far as skill and field awareness....12 is already ahead of him.
Alright, come on now... i think he's a great QB, but it's a big jump to the next level for any player. I don't know how "field aware" he would look against an SEC defense right now. Statements like this are ignorant and unfair to the player.

greeneville has played a relatively weak schedule, while White's Creek has played the TOUGHEST regular season schedule in all of 4A. They are battle tested.
White's Creek 40
greeneville 6

Oh I am man enough to get on here...sorry I don't live on here 24/7 like you do... I actually have a job, which you probably don't know what that's like since you're from Hendersonville.
Beech, I give them credit...they played a great game. Gallatin beat themselves with the 2 turnovers...and the officiating was bad. Gallatin should have won...plain and simple...but Beech, great job. Good luck against Mitchell, you're gonna need it.
Yeah, crackalack, we all know about how you work down at the smoked sausage factory...
Yeah, and WE ALL KNOW that your Mom is the top employee.
Mom jokes? That's pretty weak. This guy must be a gallatin player. Someone needs to get control of these kids over there.........
-
If anyone has low standards it would have to be Golddust. Each week you get on here to bash Gallatin football, fans, and the city. Get a life...probably one of those former Beech players who wished his parents would have moved to Gallatin to know what great football tradition is all about. Get ready BrownCrust, Gallatin is ready to prove you wrong once again.
Awww, crackalack got his feelings hurt

Capella would be an excellent hire if Cleveland can get him. He's certainly paid his dues, and you would be hard pressed to find a better X's and O's guy.
