Well just to clarify things, I am not William. Yes I did play high school basketball with him and I think he might have even posted on this name back around 2004-2005. If you really want to know who I am my name is James Hatcher and just I post as I have seen which is only a few home games.

Bobcat, it was the "refs". Those KY refs are out to get Clay County just like the TN Refs. I could only imagine how the Clay fans acted. It is actually quite funny sometimes but gets old when they scream WALK! 10000000000000000000000 times.

Anytime I get onto these boards and someone from Clay Co. post all I see is how good their (boys) team is. Well I logged onto today expecting to see some posts from the Wayne Co. Ky, tournament. However to my disappointment I didn't see anything so I figured I would check the scores out. Well from all I hear how "great" Clay Co. is and how they are a "state" bound team they couldn't come away with a single win in the x-mas tournament. They could not even finish off York Institute, which lost to Pickett earlier this year and is sporting an 4-11 record. What happen Clay why is there not anyone posting anything? If this team some how makes it out of the region the chatt. teams will have a field day especially if Clay has to travel. If battlecat was meaning by a previous post that shawn garrett would play college ball by asking if whoever played at the next level. Well Shawn Garrett is good in "high school" I would almost put my life on it that he will not play ball at the "next level". For 1 he isn't strong big or tall enough, and 2 he doesn't have the mental toughness to with stand what college coaches dish out. He could possibly play juco but I still see people twice his size there also with "tons" more talent. The road will end at the high school level thats why I don't understand why parents, teachers, and coaches think sports should be life in high school.

Clay County made Pickett look pretty bad on their home floor. I left at halftime with the score like 28 to 6, so I am sure it was very a easy Clay Co. win tonight. I think Pickett scored 1 point in the first quarter with prob 12+ turnovers.

I agree with senator; the game will be closer but Clay Co. should win by 10-15 if they come to play and do not think they are going to win without having to try.

I personally think its the year for Clay, and with that being said I think they take Pickett easier than before because seems like Walden is on in the tourny, and Clay seems to be playing good as of late. I will take Clay by 10+ in this one with them finally getting to host their sub-state. However I think sub-state is going to be very tough because they are going to play Temple or Grace which is 2 very good teams. Truly I think Clay will finally get to state this year though and then who knows how far they will go from there.

Well looks like another year that district 7A has dominated District 8A. (BOYS) Pickett County vs. Clarkrange Clay County vs. Jackson County (GIRLS) Jackson County vs. Clarkrange Red Boiling Springs vs. Clay County My opinion I think we will see for the boys side Clay County vs. Pickett County. With Clay County winning it all and finally getting to host a sub-state vs. prolly Grace or Temple. Which with either one would be a very tough game, but I think Clay finally gets their sub-state victory against one of the Chattanooga teams. As for the girls I think RBS will make it to the regional championship game pretty easily unless Clay comes out like they did vs. Pickett,if thats the case then it could be a very good game aswell. As for Jackson County vs. Clarkrange being a coin toss with Jackson prolly winning a close game. But who knows Lamar always seems to have some magic up his sleeve when his season is on the line.

Last time I heard, which was with about 2 mins left in the game, the score was 65-50 Clarkrange.

Yeah, I couldn't pull it off like I did vs Clarkrange. As for the game it could have went both ways, boiled down to free throws we missed a couple and Pickett hit theirs, so it could have went either way. As for H.S. I think we are playing good and on the right tract and almost where we need to be for the tourny. The 3's are now falling for us, tonight I was 3-5 ended with 15 points, but that doesn't matter because we didn't win. Anyways very good game, both teams played very hard. Pickett Co. over Hermitage Springs 43-39.

Well I haven't posted in forever haven't really felt the need because all it is is a distraction. Anways H.S. was down by 10 @ the half 28-18, they fought back hard in the 2nd half and was down by 3 with 12 seconds to go. I hit a three to tie it, which sent it to overtime, and we then ended up winning by 1 point. With this win we clinched 4th place in the district possiably 3rd if we can pull it out in Pickett tomorrow night. Either way 4th or 5th didn't matter since 4th and 5th play each other. But very good game to say the least. Hermitage Springs over Clarkrange 57-56 in overtime!

Well lets hear some opinions? Pickett comes to H.S. friday and they have a game Tuesday. We have a week to prepare for them since we don't have a game till we play them friday. Anyways lets hear it from everyone.
