  1. Agree on all aspects. And even though Trousdale will be the favorite, I still doubt they will be like some of the best teams they've had. One thing about them guys is, regardless of the talent or who wears the jersey, they'll have the same mind set as all the teams in the past. You don't graduate Tradition.

Well said. You sure you ain't from Hartsville?

  2. Back to back?

We do like our back to backs!

That being said, I will withhold making a judgement until I see what our line looks like without all those Seniors. I have an idea who will move where, and there's talk of a student that moved to Wyoming coming back this summer so we shall see.....

  3. Great jobs by both teams. Cards....you came up a little short. Jackets got all they could handle and pulled it out. What happened to it being a blowout? This was a battle.

I think y'all having Woodmore made all the difference. I have to say, I did not expect y'all to be able to contain Harper like y'all did. Y'all are probably the only team in the state that could've because Woodmore knew all our tricks. Definitely the best defense I've seen play against the Jackets all year! And who wants to see a blow out at a championship game anyway? :thumb:

  4. I can't believe it. I just saw another grown man wearing his TC letterman jacket in the stands too. How many of you are there? Seriously, LET IT GO.

This bothered me earlier but I'm watching the game back & I see who you're talking about. That grown man has a championship ring and drove here from Alabama to watch this game. Show some respect.

How many are there? With or without rings?

  5. You guys are the cream of the crop every year. People on the outside always want to know what really goes on. So yes, a compliment to you guys.

Thank you. Look for more in the near future. All 3 youth teams (5-12 yr olds) went undefeated champs this year and the Jr High only lost one game regular season to a 4A school. ;)

  6. I'm tellin' you ... it really is genetic in those programs. Pick up a roster from 10 or 20 years ago, and you will see a lot of the same names as players and coaches. Sure a wringer shows up ever once in a while, but that's gonna happen.

I assure you this team is all home grown. Been watching all these boys play together for over 10 years. :thumb:

  7. You can put "tradition" in a Coal Truck and run over them with it 6 times and they still can't spell it.

    :roflolk:

In all seriousness these boys do what they do because they want to be history in the making. It's not just about this game or this season. It's about their year being on T shirts with all the others 20 yrs from now. It's about following in the footsteps of their dads uncles cousins & brothers.

  8. First and foremost, congrats to TC. You guys are an amazing football team. Im just curious what the secret is. I know they have good coaching and good athletes but good grief how is everyone on their team good. They said that TC was the smallest area in the state but im telling you now there were more TC fans in the stands today than there are total people in CF and many other communities around here. if you say its normal for a 2A team with only 28 players to be that good you're lying to yourself. Im not even implying that there is something illegal going on but someone please enlighten me. There may be only 3 kids in all of Morgan County (4 schools that would probably be 4A if combined) that could play for TC. And its not like you guys just got lucky, you guys are the real deal every single year. What's the deal?

We've been telling y'all for years. The secret is tradition. Period.
