Well I'll say one thing for sure: At least I could make a decision unlike the powers at Independence. I'm glad I'm not chosen. Good luck to who ever that Independence finally hires.

Hogan thinks the search for a new Football HC at Indy might just heat up next week ,as school is back in and Dr. Campbell returns from Atlanta and Mr. Jones returns from Oklahoma and Mr. Dyson returns from the NFL Network and the Music City Miracle Relive......all get back from their nation wide Volleyball Coach search.

Going to get very interesting with this search for a Head Football Coach casting a shadow toward the 100 year school in Williamson County. Good Luck to all the applicants

I guess I am new to these parts. I thought Independence was a school that was less than 10 years old. What do you mean about the shadow? I have heard that interviews are the second week of January. Anyone know who the one's are that are being interviewed? Are there finalists yet?

Who is making the call here? I know you mentioned three names: Dr. Campbell is the principal, Dyson is the AD, but who is Mr. Jones?

Yes he would as he is a good coach, but you have to ask "Can you afford him"? Even coaches at 1A schools in Rutherford County make more than 6A schools in FC.

 

Added to this the bad rep the county has earned in how it treated its last two HC's and it is surprising any would apply period.

There are some that apply just wanting a chance.

Coach Donnie webb would be a good hire. Good coach and good man.

So this is a done deal? When are they making the announcement? I was one hoping for an interview. This could be a good job. I think they should hire some young, new energy to uplift this program. I would want to put in a system such as MTSU's with the Tony Franklin type schemes. With him being so close you could get great advice and it could pay off with WINS!

Of all the jobs this one seems to be the quietest and not much info out there. What was the good news from Franklin? Is there not a coach from there trying to get the job

I heard a rumor today (and mind you that is all it is), but it came from somone associated with the school that there really isn't any search that will be conducted.

It will be Dyson when all is said and done??

How is it, an assistant coach on the football staff is the Athletic Director? How does that work?

So you send resumes to a guy that is being considered for the job? Man, that is how you can stack the deck on who is getting interviewed. I guess I will think twice about getting called for an interview there. If someone gets called in for an interview, you may just be there as part of the show. Does Dyson get to sit in on the other guys interviews. Man that would be crazy!

They might hire someone who can drive to the school each day for practice.

I wonder if he turns it down if they will call others back or look at other resumes that they got? Seems like they would want young blood to get things excited.

Are they interviewing yet? The paper today made it sound like they were not interviewing yet.

I heard from a friend that if the Coach from South Middle gets the job several assistant coaches at the High School will not work for him.

If I were you, I would not apply for the Indy job because, as you said, you don't have enough experience to get the job and now we know that you're not good at picking out a former coach/former coach's family member on Coach T. You better stick with your current job and not send those resumes out yet.

I may apply...or I may not, but one thing's for sure it will have nothing to do with what you have to say about it!! It is totally apparent that you have an axe with the IHS administration and I called you out on it. I really would like to work for an administration that wants you to excel

Ok, to all you sideline quarterbacks and coaches who want to re-live your "glory" days, why don't you apply for the head coaching job at IHS? It seems that you all have a championship strategy in the bag. Trust me, coaching is an easy job. Maybe then, those more athletic players that stood on the sideline will be your championship team. I'm sure the entire staff overlooked hidden star athletes that would have produced your championship team. Remember, it you don't win the play-offs, you too will now be considered a failure! So, all you superstars put on your jock straps and turn in your resume because Dr. Campbell is waiting on you. The future of the IHS football team depends on YOU! Get-r-done!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not have enough experience to get this job, but I do have enough experience to pick out a former coach or a former coach's family member on Coach T

Rumor is now that Brad Dedman will named the new HC at central they might do it tonight at the bb game he will do a great job
