The job wasn't posted until yesterday. If Scott Smith(from science hill) applies he might be your front runner, unless it turns into a "buddy" hire. It may come down to coaching styles, Daniels never was a fan of the spread offense.

It "should" be from someone outside, but Daniels has a history of hiring within. I just dont see anyone left on that staff thats head coach material at this level. It should be an attractive job if Daniels ever even gets around to posting it.

NO! (A) whoever gets this job needs to be able to bring in their own staff. This group of assistants have never shown the ability to evaluate nor develop talent. Which brings me to ( Start winning and we wont have to talk any player into playing here! Lavergne has and always will have better athletes than smyrna, but they go there and get COACHED! (21 out of 22) step it up Melvin!

My son is a player on the Lavergne team,and that Crutchfield guy is the name he said he keeps hearing as the replacment. Word is Hester has been grooming him for the job. I think he would make a great fit. Just look at what he did at Lavergne middle school with these same kids!
