Went and seen Spring Hill play at Columbia Academy last night. They looked good for the first preseason game of the year. Teal started on the mound and looked sharp! Did'nt see their other top pitcher. Their other young arms looked very good. The bats started out slow but picked up as the game went on. Bigler had a couple big bombs, one was caught and the other a 2b. Schubert hit two bombs also one was caught and the other off the fence for a 2b. The real test will be today when they play powerhouse Columbia Central. Basketball season is over for SH so they will have two important players back.

I see Spring Hill being up there again. Staying healthy is going to be important. Have a lot of pitching, defense and will be strong with the bat!!!!! Coach Lamm will have them ready and playing hard.

Spring Hill Jake Usher has a very big arm. Just turned 15 so is a young sophmore. Throwing 80 to 85 right now!!!! needs to work on his footwork. will be fun to watch next couple yrs

I think messy is a understatement, Coach Lamm is maturing into one of the finest coaches in TN. Hands down!! Spring Hill will be fun to watch this year

State AA Runner up Spring Hill has players that need to be mentioned. Scarritt(Trevecca) Schubert(lipscomb)are very talented seniors. Scarritt has a excellent bat an Schubert has a big fresh arm. They both have worked exstremly hard in the off season. They just don't get any talk because columbia central is the main school in maury co.

Spring Hill, lost a lot of offense but has good pitching and a lot of young talent.They have a lot of big arms! :!:Very balanced at pitching with righties and lefties. Has 2 big arms in schubert and usher!!! Has a lot of offense left in scaritt, schubert, prewitt ,ellis,usher,petty,bigler,an freshman prewitt has a lot of speed. Watch out for the raiders, Coach Lamm's train is rolling again this year. Maturing into one of the best young coaches in Middle TN. Coach Willie will be impossible to replace!!!!

Who was the kid that pitched in the Richland game? Was told he was dominating, and heard he was bringing that fastball. Is he SH ace? Where did come from? Would like to know the next time he pitches!

Thats the problem, the parents think they can be coaches from the sideline! They need to just enjoy the game and let the coaches do their job! If there is anything worse for a program is parents that can't keep their mouths shut

Thanks Willie, are all these kids seniors? Mr. Gross from Page, does he only pitch? Is their any juniors that can play the corner with no fear! I thought that Mr. Brochu had bigger plans than comm. college.He has a lot of talent and I am sure he will only improve this season.
