Looks as though the kid has stopped playing football this year. Haven't gotten a reason from anyone yet. Will be interesting to see if he plays basketball. If not expect him to be gone next year.

Well, first to my friend redrobin. My dislike for lil Ricky is not the same as not liking Ensworth. I love the mighty Ensworth and several of the coaching staff. Just wanted to address the stupidity of your post. Also, if you feel I am the only person at Ensworth who dislikes Bowers you are sadly mistaken. To address Bucksfan, as a coach at dca how hard would it be to stay 10-15 minutes after practice to work with a player? And as for being "Rusty" I have no idea who that is but obviously he was smart enough to jump off of the sinking ship that is your football team...

So the other USN player who missed the entire summer, and plays a skill position, can play almost every down of every game but they can't get this guy on the line to block someone? It will be interesting to see if he makes the trip to Knoxville tonight... Alot of crazy things going on over there in Donelson!

The kid is a beast! Played at one of the Jr Highs in the Madison area. You cannot tell me that a team who barely beat a horrible Ezell Harding team cannot use a 6'6 290 lb kid somewhere!?!? Ive heard its just the coaches not liking him. For instance, there is another USN student who did not even report all summer and rides the same bus to pracitce everyday day and plays the entire game. Seems that DCA is dropping the ball on this kid and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets smart and gets out of there. He can come play for coach Wade any day!

Now that coach Henrie won't be on the floor this year, who will they get to fill this position? Centennial is in a pretty good district and has a nice nucleus returning from last year.

Would love to hear the story of how Coach Maddux was named the new coach and any other insight you can give on the inner workings of CPA. Maybe you can fill us in on what Drew does within the admissions office and how that directly relates to his basketball team. Any insight would be appreciated.

This post has been pointless. Anyone remember Z. Mason a few years back? Standout football and basketball player gets into trouble, gets kicked out, ends up at Davidson Academy. Sound familiar? The next year he was back roaming the halls at CPA. Maddox hasnt built up that empire so he can kick his star players out of school. Both of the season were over, kick him out to look like you are making a stance. Wharton will be back at CPA next year.

There are alot of openings and no one is talking about them. Has anyone heard who will be taking over at; Antioch - Have some talent had a decent year last year Independence - Had a great year last year nice location Glencliff - 1 win and the season will be a success USN - Have had great success lately but think it might be on a downward spiral Any word?

Wow, pretty sure having a kid transfer schools when you jump ship is highly questionable. Im sure since this board is filled with tssaa staff they will be looking into it.

Well still no hire but word has it they have their guy. No word yet whether or not he has been contacted but people from within say it is a done deal.

Gman, always fun to read your comics. Breaking news out of Madison, rumor has it that a decision could be made by the end of the week possibly early next week. One rumor I have heard and hope is not true is that they are asking for some advice from Coach Maddux. Doesn't make alot of sense to seek from an opposing region coach.

Voice your concerns to every person in administration over there. Otherwise look for another sub-par year next year with a very good team. Make the call, Coach Sonn is waiting.

Smith is not going anywhere. Tippett is and has been the best coach in the Memphis area. BA started horribly added some players finished season well only to be put out by Ryan. If BA wants to really compete theyhave to get a new coach in there. Otherwise the best talent will be in the stands or transferring.

When asked if Farmer was in the mix, the Goodpasture administration had this to say "ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha." That is a direct quote. Side note how many CoachT accounts can the Farmers have?

Doesn't look like the higher ups over in Brentwood are ready to make any moves. Its a shame, would be nice to see them back in the mix.

Farmer plays golf as well as he coaches. On subject, they are interviewing but the names that were mentioned have not been in. Not sure about Massey but Sonn isn't leaving his place. ThaTruth is probably blowing smoke with make believe sources.

Trust me, NO ONE wants Farmer. Was the coach fired or did he leave?

Is there anyone on here who really has some inside info on the situation? Just seems like alot of speculation and guesswork going on. Personally I wouldn't mind watching their current coach continue to under achieve.

Congratulations to the Wildcats. They looked good against a lethargic USN. I was at the gym all day to watch both the girls and boys of Ensworth and caught most of this game. Tiger we have been going back and forth on another post and I would say from what I saw, Coach Sonn would definately listen from interested schools. Sorry to see the lady tigers drop one but the boys picked up their slack. On a side note, Nichols from Briarcrest is a man out there!

Smith is a great coach but does he want to leave? I think if Sonn wanted to leave USN, BA should take a serious look.

Smith is a great coach, unless you know otherwise I doubt he is leaving Ensworth anytime soon.

For BA to compete again they need to clean house. Husband is a good guy but needs to move on and Bradshaw is not the fix.
