Niether team was ever really challanged until the finals. ...And what a final it was. This great rivalry included some great matches and an upset or two mixed in. Those two did have minor bangs and bruises. Cleveland was also without 145 starter Dre Moore who was out of town. Cleveland should be back to full power next week.

The young Blue Raider wrestling team placed 4th at the tough Fandetti Brawl on Saturday. Christian Bros was first followed by Parkland (NC), and Science Hill. Cleveland wrestlers that placed were: 103 - Austin Oliver - 2nd - Lost first match of the year to a tough senior from Owen (NC) 11-8 in the final 112 - Joel Simpkins - 6th 119 - Haden Hamilton - 6th 135 - Aaron Lopez - 5th 160 - Bailley Jones - 2nd - Wrestled like a stud. Lost a grueler to Marciano Ali of Parkland 3-1 in the finals 171 - Will Moreland - 5th 189 - Chip Norwood - 2nd - Lost a tough one to Oolewah's Tyler Toon in the finals. Tyler is looking good and caught Chip in a cradle. Chip and Tyler split matches last year and Chip will be looking for that result again this year when they meet again. 215 -Jesses Jones - 5th Cleveland was without two starters, 130 Mavin Lopez and 152 Isaiah Nichols. Both should be back next week.
