  1. I just want to give English some love also. This young man is putting columbia on his back and it looks like his team is now coming together. He's averaging 18pts 6assists and a few steals in tournament action great production from a senior leader, and I mean leader. Teams should look out for him and this Columbia bunch, looking forward to watching them at MTSU.
  2. When you really think about it, MVP awards are given to the overall best player. So with that being the case do you still vote Brink since Andrews is out of the question?
  3. Yes, Rusk is a good player. But I couldn't award him MVP over English simply for the fact Columbia is 1 in district play and Tullahoma isn't even in the top 3. English doesn't get the respect he deserves due to the fact he doesn't take many shots and over power you with large scoring numbers. He still has no comparison to the #2 spot in the district.
  4. Sir, do you mean to tell me English isn't a leader? He in my opinion shows the most leadership in the district. Yes Columbia would be good without him, but if you put him on Lawrence or shelbyville I don't think neither of you would lose a game in district play. Now this is coming from an eagle fan. Brink is good, but English is more valuable than him. Just my opinion.
  5. With what occured with Mr. Andrews, should English (#10) of Columbia be awarded district MVP. He is undoubtedly the next "MOST VALUABLE PLAYER" ? No he's not better than Andrews but he's the next most valuable player, as the award states. Just a question, would like to see others feelings on this one.
  6. I've also watched many games in this district, and this one is a no brainer naming my top two players. 1. Emmanuel Andrews Shelbyville (#23) 2. James English Columbia (#10) Nobody in this district can impact and change a game more than these two young men. Andrews is a human highlight reel who does the majority of scoring for Shelbyville. English runs the show for Columbia and is a consistent point who can probably score at will, but passes up numerous shots. These two are by far the top players in this district. Others I've noticed: Chad Rusk Tullahoma (#4) , Josh Cannon Franklin Co. (#5) , Lester (no first name #25) Franklin Co. , D. Parks Columbia (#21) , and Seth Jarrell #50 Shelbyville
  7. 5'10 Guard who had a triple double against Lincoln County, and controlled the shelbyville game extremely well. Really matched up with Andrews(pure talent) but it was definitely an exciting game, Columbia winning by just a few. But does anybody else know anything about him?
