derek creech best 2 point guards in morristown history, He has been instrumental in guiding the senators to 2 National Tournament appearances in his for years on staff. The 04-05 team finished 27-5, while the 07-08 team finished 32-3 which is a school record for wins. Derek has recruited and coached 2 All-Americans, Ralph Legg in 04-05 and AJ Thomas in 07-08. Along with assisting Coach Carlyle in daily activities of the team, Derek is the recruiting coordinator, and tracks all academics progress as well as does most of the teams scouting.
Derek received his B.S. In Physical Education from East Tennessee State University in 1997. Derek is originally from Morristown, Tn. He and his wife Angela, have three daughters: Abbie, Kailie, and Lacie.
