  1. Thanks for the insight. I thought the backup QB for SH was also a Senior? Maybe I'm wrong. Regardless, you're right, he's very impressive. I believe his name is Justin Bedard. I've heard that while McGue is definitely the starter, the Bedard kid is also going to see a lot of time at the QB position, while they move McGue out wide some.
  2. The Hilltoppers scrimmaged Sullivan South last night and according to the JC Press, SH looked very impressive. According to the paper, the Toppers scored with ease on the Rebels with big play after big play. The defense apparently also looked solid. And for those that aren't familiar with Sullivan South, they're going to be a very good team this year. Even more impressive about tonight's scrimmage, the Toppers were playing without starting QB Malik McGue, starting WR/DB Malik Stephens, starting LB/RB Trey Sutton, and LB Costa Kalogeros. This year's SH team is not one to sleep on. Carter's got himself a group with a lot of talent and experience.
  3. The score was 63-20 and that was in the 2nd round. You mean you weren't keeping up with the scores? You had time to do so seeing as your Indians were sitting at home after yet again doing what they always do; choking, and this time to Morristown East. blazer, SH wins at home this year. Like you said, doesn't really matter much at the end of the day though. The Toppers and Indians both have no shot at making it past Maryville.
  4. Oh it's plenty to brag about. "As good as last year" beat your Indians didn't it? As for bragging, you all are the best at it yet your "great" teams consistently fall in the 1st round practically every year. So keep talkin the talk and maybe one day you all will actually make it to the Championship game, or you know, beat Maryville even.
  5. SH will be as good if not better than last year. They didn't lose much to graduation. Virtually their entire secondary is returning (and looking much improved from last year from what I've heard), most of the skill position players are back (including top WR's Mikey White, Malik Stephens and Elijah Mathes along with RB Trey Sutton) and most importantly, QB Malik McGue is back. Both lines are also bigger and stronger than last year's group from what I've been told, which includes 6-6 280 pound Senior, Malcolm White. The kid already has 7 scholarship offers and apparently VA Tech is also showing a lot of interest. Last but not least, both their K Alex Rinella and P Adam Moorleghen (both of whom may have been the best in the conference last year) are also returning. This may be the best team Stacy's had at The Hill yet.
  6. Omar is at UTC. He didn't like Georgetown and decided to transfer.
