  1. Cookeville 2 - Coffee County 0 Region 3 semis: Coffee County @ Cleveland McMinn County @ Cookeville
  2. Coffee County 2 - Warren County 1 Cookeville 8 - White County 0 Cookeville vs. Coffee County on Thursday at 7:00. District awards presentation before the game at 6:30.
  3. The best from 6-AAA Cole Warden - Warren County Michael Gallagher - Warren County Jorge Pumarino - Warren County Javier Gonzalez - White County Daniel Gonzalez - Cumberland County Ben Laws - Cookeville John Birdwell - Cookeville I don't know if the Sain twins and Chance Simmons from Coffee County are juniors or seniors, but if juniors, I'd include them as well. The real strength in this district, however, is the sophomore class, but I guess that's for another topic.
  4. Cookeville 3 - Coffee County 1 We're playing our best soccer of the season, and at the right time. Stephen Sherfy will have surgery to fix his nose on Thursday morning. If he can walk in a straight line and wear a face protector, he will be cleared to play Thursday evening against White County. We're trying to find a black one, a la Demichelis of Bayern Munich in order to make him as terrifying as possible!
  5. Cookeville 4 - Warren County 0
  6. We lost center back and captain Stephen Sherfy to a broken nose in the first 5 minutes of the game against CCHS tonight. No telling on when he'll be back :/
  7. Oops. I did that recently during a game, but the ball was seriously flat.
  8. Cookeville 2 - Germantown 0 Everyone was dragging in the second half. It was so hot, and the game was on turf. First game we've played in heat in several years.
  9. Well, it was a good one. 0-0. LA had a very good game plan and executed it perfectly. Frustrating from my point, but gotta give credit where it's due. I was outclassed this evening.
  10. LA vs. Cookeville today. Should be a good one!
  11. Ravenwood is class. We took a beating. We beat Soddy 2-0 tonight. Our best effort of the tournament so far.
  12. Oh okay...well, if you're around, say hello!
  13. They will be a senior heavy squad with a lot of experience. They have a very good forward in Beth Morgan who can score a lot of goals. Should be an interesting year in what should be a much-improved district, as (I think) most teams return a significant number of starters. In fact, I think--across the district--more freshmen started than seniors in the '09 season...
  14. Thank you. You're associated with Soddy-Daisy, correct? See you Saturday evening!
  15. Cookeville 2 - White County 0 I don't think we deserved the win--White County played us off the pitch. Our keeper came up big for us several times.
  16. Cookeville 2 - Coffee County 0 Good competitive game. MVM, I do coach both the boys and the girls.
  17. Cookeville 7 - Warren County 0
  18. Cookeville 7 - Cumberland County 0 Cumberland County is down this year--very young, not a lot of travel experience. They do have a very good goalkeeper, though, who could keep them in games. Had several outstanding saves. On the downside, our field is torn up
  19. Cookeville 7 - Cumberland County 0 White County 2 - Coffee County 2
  20. Schools/Players' inclusion is dependent on the coach submitting the necessary information. I'm always going to send in the information for 1-2 of my best players/college prospects in the hopes that they'll be recognized. Usually doesn't happen, but this time it did!
  21. Scouting report? We play them next Thursday!
  22. Station Camp 1 - Cookeville 0 Station Camp is strong, fast, and solid. No weak spots. They don't make mistakes. They should have a good season this year.
