Very sorry to hear that Mr. Evans has passed . He got my daughter pitching her first couple of years and because of him she is realizing some of her dreams . We smile when we think of some of his words of wisdom that he commonly passed on to young pitchers . Mr. Evans was a truley genuine , kind man and will always be remembered as a true inspiration to those young ladies he taught to pitch .

Ok scout 4 I have to apoligize for that . I was also informed that there are 3 to 4 good ball players that are freshman . But I was also imformed that there were 8 to 9 other players that didn't play on the middle school team or play travel ball , just played the 12 games of little league each year . And my opinion is that it takes alot more than 12 games to develope ball players . So I wasn't totally wrong saying the JV team has no talent ! Just very little ! But good luck to them . Also just after my post I was informed that this freshman pitcher i mentioned also played for the middle school last year and tied the 7th grader you mentioned on no hiiters .And that she was even better this year ! So she did come from somewhere . Thats all I know at this point but will post more info as I receive it !

It may be totally rediculous to respond to your own post but here it goes ! I say Grainger Grizzlies will top out in their division ! Though I here they have lost their senoir pitcher , they have a great defense and their bats are hot !!! Though I beleive they are starting a freshman pitcher that has arrived from nowhere I here she is very good . Folks say she is a bit young for 17 , 18 yr old ball but she will be a dominating factor in division II AA ball over the next 4 years . As for their JV team I think they virtually have no talent at all ! I heard the coach there just accepted anyone that wanted to play this year and that most of the new freshman came from local losing little league teams . Hope she has some good players coming up in 2011 !

Wow ! Guys those comments really show your intelligence ! Look any pitcher that worked hard enough to make it to varsity highschool ball has talent ! And diserves our formost respect . Ultimitly we should discuss their talent and list their NAMES and not the ones we can call each other !
