What happened to Louie?I am the new HC in Track at Cumberland County. You may remember me when I coached the girls at Kenwood with Chuck Babcock. I am looking for meets on the following dates:March 19th or 20th
April 2nd or 3rd
April 30th or May 1st
May 7th or 8th
Just wanted to know if I help a meet at our place on March 20th with FAT and medals awarded to the top 8 in every event, how many teams would consider coming? The price would be 80 dollars for boys and girls combined or 40 per boys and 40 per girls teams. I appreciate any help with this matter..

1. More room for additional mats is a good thing.
2. Closer to the action is a good thing.
3. No food Nazis is a good thing.
4. All-day parking is a good thing.
5. The central location is a good thing.
1. No dressing rooms is a negative.
2. Not enough rooms and restaurants at the exit is a negative.
3. The floor being uneven under the mats is a negative.
4. Only one entrance was a negative.
Looks to me the positives outwiegh the negatives.
I have a few other questions:
1. Why was there no impartial person for the girls weigh-ins, like for the boys?
2. Who thinks it matters when one team has to sleep in a hotel and be supervised vs. sleeping at home and not being supervised. I laughed at the idea that state qualifying wrestlers would not have the self-discipline to watch what they eat, since the most disciplined guys are the ones who make it to the state.
3. When will we ever see a true double-elimination? I hear the TSSAA wants to lower the number of qualifiers to 24. Does that make sense to anybody outside of the TSSAA offices? If they lower it, it needs to be lowered to 16, but add a new level to the entire tournament between Region and State.
4. Does anybody think that the guy who said the traffic problem will improve b'c of construction is off his rocker besides me?
5. The idea to move the mats out and put the scoreboards and scoring tables in the center is a great idea. I bet that gets fixed for next year.
6. If there were rooms to the south of Franklin, traffic would improve. Does anybody know that part of the state well enough to comment?

So, Bradley just finished first in the State, b/c they recruited from Cleveland, which finished third and Walker Valley (which is a new school in Bradley County) who finished 12th. Makes no sense to me.Before this gets ugly...there is no new school planned for Bradley County next year. BB was just trying to get some of you excited. Good job BB it worked. No you are retarded i know they aren't going to combine I am just saying the students in Bradley County have the advantage of being able to choose which school they attend obviously Bradley is winning this battle.
A rising tide lifts all ships.

I have two observations to make:
First, if you can't find a 103, you aren't likely to find a 106 or a 107, so go figure.
Second, as a person who hasn't really worked with a single football coach who sees enough benefit in wrestling to encourage his heavier players to participate, I am against anything that adds a heavier weight class at the expense of a lighter one. And I am at one of the larger schools in the state.
Going back to 12 weight classes might be the answer.
I hope you do not agree with them.

I would like to see a class between 215 and 285, but where do we lose a class? How about 15 classes, so it is less likely for criteria to decide a winner?

What part of the state?
