  1. From a spectators stand point with no bias.... Middle Tennessee umpires have proven to be soem of the most consistant... consistant about being terrible.... Oh well. Not sure there is a large enough paycheck to make me want to umpire.
  2. I would personally like to see Miller go against Ray. That would be the deciding factor. Power versus Craftiness. As far as the other Franklin shortstop I think the last name is Gavigan? Something like that. After viewing some of Franklins games and hearing parents talk, Franklin may have a some coaching blunders but no one knows what happens on the inside that determines a coaches decision about a player.
  3. Indy did play well in the series against Franklin but I think they will have a really tough battle against Ravenwood especially coming of a series with Hillsboro. Franklin may have a series isswue if your bunting down 8 runs in the last inning.
  4. Wow..lots of bashing going on here. I think that we can all agree that each team has good players and that no one team will absolutely dominate. Its going to be tough. I think its just a matter of which team shows up to play that night. Winner.... the one who wants it worse. I don't think it has anything to do with number of "quality" players "big league" coaches or who has the best offensive states. I think its the teams who play for blood that will rise to the top.
  5. It's easy to say that a team has good "pitchers". Evryone has their good days and bad days. Its the coach who makes the difference. Franklin has a guy who pitched in the majors helping them...wouldn't that be an edge? Who does Indy, Ravenwood, and Brentwood have helping their "top notch" pitchers out? I keep hearing about Miller and Toscano... think what a major leaguer could do with them.
