exactly! I'm a SH fan and I am getting sick of hearing people bash MC. Two good teams in CW and MC squared off and the better team won the game. Johnson is definetley a D1 prospect. It was a blessing to witness Pitino come to the hill and get his autograph. I'm sure Pitino drove right by creekwood on his way down to SH to watch Kedren, but you CW fans are right, Pitino must not be able to recognize talent even though he has won a national title before. Maybe he should hire some of these amatuer CW fans to recruit, or maybe he should forget about recruiting and just sign all of the CW players, then L'ville would be good right? why would a D1 coach drive 4 hours to watch a junior play ball? This kid is a Junior!! Give him props! Give the MC TEAM credit, they all need each other to play as well as they do! They are good and CW was good too. Good luck to all of the CW players and to all the CW seniors. This is not a bash to all the CW fans, just the ones that keep bashing MC. CW had an awesome fan base at the game and both teams student sections were very entertaining.

I totally agree. Both teams deserve to go to the state tourney. I believe both teams have a good chance to win there sub-state game. Its going to come down to execution and who wants to host a sub-state game more. Both teams know how to play each other so who ever can execute the coaches game plan and minimize mistakes will win. As far as the critics saying our district is weak, they will be proven wrong when either SH, MC, or both go to state. Every district has weak teams but what makes a team good is when they win the ones their suppose to, and surviving when your team is not playing up to their potential which is what both MC and SH did last night. To be honest, after watching the games last night I believe Page was a better team than CW, But then again you cant judge a team that you have only seen once.

Well, it's time to get away from those creekwood fans and start a new discussion among us adults. These 2 teams battle it out every time they play. This will be another classic between the 2 best teams in the region. No matter who wins, I believe both teams will prevail in the substate and represent our district and region to the fullest. I think the region 5 championship is MLK and Maplewood. Being a SH fan I hope we can prevail and host a sub-state game because its been since 99' since SH has been this successful. No matter who wins I want to wish the MC players the best of luck in the next rounds to come.

MC is a well rounded team. You are right, and SH is also a great young team. I agree with you. Johnson does have a good supporting cast from what I've seen. Who is MC's Post player? He seemed to have presence. This will be a great atmosphere! I am excited for this game. I am a SH fan and I am almost more excited to see CW and MC play because of what i have seen from MC and what i have heard about CW.

Its going to be a close game. like i said before i'm curious to see how Johnson will do against CW's Post players because Johnson loves to drive to the hoop. I believe CW will give him trouble tonight and they will come away with the win though. I hope so because i would like to see the 2 district champs battle it out on Thursday especially since SH and CW don't really have a tradition yet. Hopefully SH can focus on page tonight though.

Ive never seen CW play but from what i hear I am excited to see this game. Those of you saying MC choked in the championship game must not know much about the district. MC and SH always play each other tight. This match up will be good though because i hear CW has a dominant post game and Kedren Johnson loves to drive to the hole. I personally hope CW wins because I would love to see the 2 district champs battle it out for the region. SH doesn't have a great post game but they can have a chance to beat CW with their long range jumpers and they are a very quick team so they can definitely push the tempo or match CW's tempo. But that is only if they don't over look page.

I agree. This year SH seemed to lose their games in the second half and with that being said, the only question in the second half was whether or not SH was going to win by 20. They are a young team with 4 sophomores getting a lot of playing time. They lack the inside game for sure, if they meet CW in the championship, they will have to hit outside shots to win. Im excited to see who will prevail between MC or CW.

I have seen MC and Spring hill this year and both have a great chance to win the region, but I have not seen CW. I imagine only losing 2 games this year they have to be tough. How big are these post players everyone is talking about? MC and CW will be a great game. I am going to this one for sure.
