You didnt see all of our pitching. Our starter was not at his best last night. The Freshman that closed the game is a STUD. We have 2 more Sophmores that are awfully good. We will soon find out if we have the pitching to win. One thing is FOR SURE...we have the hitting to win a game or two.

Josh Chappell is the lefty that you are talking about. That was his 12th HR this year. By the way.....he is a Freshman. The starting lineup for Adamsville includes 2 Seniors, 2 Juniors 3 Sophmores and 2 Freshman. There are 3 Sophmores that are very very good that dont get much playing time.

Adamsville beat a not very good JCM team 14-1 in 4 innings today. Hardin County Saturday.

Watch for the names Wallis and McSwain out of Adamsville. 2014 is a loooong way off but they are both solid.

Stephen Gant and Ryne Fisher are both talented RHP's for Riverside. I bet you are talking about Gant. Everyone is overlooking Adamsville. They have a top 3 defensive team, more pitching than I have seen in a while and a group of players that seem to mesh. If the bats stay hot, they are going to be TOUGH. Summertown and Riverside are on the schedule early. We will know more after that.

Adamsville played Chester County yesterday in Middleton. Final score 10-1. If Adamsvilles bats can stay hot, they are going to be TOUGH!!! They may have the strongest Freshman and Sophmore class in West Tennessee. Both of those age groups have won back to back State Championships in Dixie Boys. Will be good to see if that can carry over in TSSAA.
