are you crazy... what sport are you even talking about fulton has won the last two state championships and has the best player in the state in AA on thier team, now idk what would make anyone believe that maplewood is better than fulton or tyner matter of fact Fulton is bringin back a 3peat!!!! if they had not moved to AAA I believe they would have had a 3peat.....But we will never know. Jalen Steele is a stud, but I dont think he is the best player in the state..... I like Tarius Johnson (TJ) he doesn't get the credit he deserves......The main reason is because he didn't play his true position until this year. Liberty Tech 2010 AA State Champs book it! The best player in the state is proven in Jalen Steele and he is the best player hands down but I dont see Liberty getting through Fulton this year ... Fulton is at the top of their game and clicking on all cylinders ... 3-Peat BABY!!!!!

2007 Liberty Tech had the best "team"...their starting five made the all tournament team.....thats the only time that's been done in state tournament history. I expect Liberty to win it all this year....Book it! liberty tech was incredible that year after watching them embarress my falcons in 07 they deserve there props for that year but i dont see liberty ever reproducing that kind of team again or anyone having that kind of team ever again

you guys can take nothing away from tarwater on here downing his award and all the hard work he has put in ... mr. basketball doesnt always go to who you want personally i agree and believe Lyles is the best player in the state in that division but you can you not take anything away from tarwater ..... he can play

Steele is a great player too, but Crawford is better than Steele... I have seen both play as well... Crawford is just more talented plain and simple. AAU is way different than Organized Tennessee High School basketball... TRUE.... AAU has more talented players on 1 team than Organized Tennessee High School basketball.... So to perform better on the AAU level tells a recruiting website like rivals the amount of talent you really have than playing against some team that doesn't have much talent on it. I take Crawford over Steele IMHO! true true but you got to remember about 80% of the time aau is played with no defense maybe i like steele more because im from knoxville but after watching him score 46 the other night i am going to have to say he is one of the best scorers in the state

does carter have an answer for cross and depew? lester and cross will cancel each other out, what about the other players for carter can they match up with east? i havent seen east play but i know that bennette and ballenger(or however u spell it) can play i just dont see east having the athletic ability to match up with carters phyisical play

Ricky Tisdale and Jay Murphy are the real deal back court in AA!!!! Here is Steele, Boyd, & Campbell's props! PROPS! But Bolivar has the best back court in AA hands down! Yeah i will agree i saw that last year in the state tournament

Wow now...Just curious who has Tyler Hood signed with?? Anyway to your point. Hood might be great and congrats on his signing to continue his education and basketball career but a lot of kids get snubbed for the list. It's only three spots. Now your point is valid for Adonis Thomas because he has 3-5 other D-1 caliber players with him but Joe Jackson and Prather's team would be nothing without them. In AAA Memphis, White Station would be last in the district. Jackson Northside would be the same way. They wouldn't have any size without Casey.. Hood signed with Samford. But that fact is totally irrelevent since the award is HIGH SCHOOL MR. BASKETBALL not "The Kid that Signs with the Biggest School" Award. LC would have no size without Hood. Without him they would be starting 6'1" post players. It is obvious that you are a Memphis homer. Hood has been named All State, 2 Time District MVP, and broken every school record that stands at LC. I find it extremely hard to believe that White Station has no one to go with Jackson...They are ranked nationally most years. I'm sorry but you do not get ranked in the USA Today Poll by having one great player. It just doesn't happen! NONE OF THIS MATTERS ..... JOE JACKSON IS THE MAN PERIOD HE DESERVES MR. BASKETBALL
