Croy is one of the best highschool wrestlers I have ever seen on and off the mat. But it is time you give Kennedy some credit. I saw the match on video, it could have went either way. With your quote about Kennedy getting it done at 189. My question Croy wrestled 189 at Dixie and 189 this weekend. Why did he wrestle 215 all season, seems like someone was running but it was not Kennedy. My comment was simply in reference to the statement "Would love to have seen Kennedy at his best shape wrestling 215 all season. Probably could have a state championship at that weight as well." I actually dont think either of these guys was running...they proved that they are not scared by wrestling each other at Dixie Duals, when they didnt have to. There are a lot of wrestlers and coaches in TN that could learn from this. They both deserve a pat on the back after that battle. BUT...just because Kennedy threw a nice cradle doesnt mean that he could have won at 215 this yr. Croy went 215 for his team. I will say it again...wrestle this match again or wrestle it 5 more times and its not going to change the outcome. With that said, I agree with you...Kennedy deserves a lot of credit, he went hard with a very good wrestler and NEXT year he can win his 2nd state championship at whatever weight he wants.
