I feel the same way!! I'm not the one that got this started lol.. I knew what you meant!! I just don't know about some of the others that posted.. I really hope they meant the same thing you did.. I was around when CC was a doormat. So I know these guys can coach! I just wish they had same playing field as the ones they face every-week.

Heck Brady and Kev are the best too friends, I hope they end up at same place! Just sad people had to take this post and run with it. I just wanna see where they all end up, and be done with all the crying and bellyaching

Wow Howdo you really slammed me there. I have read your post all year and really thought you were a good person. I meant absolutely no disrespect to our coaches. They have done an outstanding job. Coaches get out coached every day in all level's of the game. As far as compliments go I was one of the first people there when the team broke from their post game huddle. Coach Finley was walking away and to me appeared to be sad about the way the game went. I walked up and gave him a big hug and told him we loved him!!! Our coaches are great people, coaches and mentors as well. I HAVE NOTHING BUT RESPECT FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM !!!! Sorry you feel the way you do, It was not my intention to belittle anyone. It is pretty sad that a simple post can turn into something this crappy !!

On little happier note: Slim88 yes #87 Brady Bose is my son and we are very proud of him as we are all of CUBNATION. We have had quite a few University's interested in him. He has made a couple of visits but nothing official. We just got him signed up with the NCAA so he should get some serious looks now.

I knew what you meant, but when reading, it came off wrong., I'm pretty sure you been one of the coaches biggest fans.. They have done as much for Brady as they have Kevin., I didn't always agree with things they did, and I .... Sure let them know.. We just agreed to disagree! HahA

I'm glad everyone can lol about all this.. I'm ready move on.. I hope I can defend the coaches of a college now if my son gets a chance! Haha.. In all seriousness it's hard for me to not defend these coaches for all the reasons I posted, and for some Personel ones.. I like and know just about everyone posting on here.. I consider most thems kids my on..

Thk you shadow for all your post!! I think most of this coaches discussion is between just a small group of people.. I hope they can get together and settle there problems.... I'm not discussing it anymore.. I don't know how you start on a group of coaches that has went 12 an 1.. Not to mention all the records alone the line.. I just read a few things in the last post , I agree with some, but I disagree with some also.. Here is my take on some of it! I don't know if all this is true now , and some if its speculation so don't quote me! Out of all the counties that touch Cheatham were the only county that doesn't have a weight lifting class,( whats that matter? well if your kids work that means the head coach has to be there all the time to make sure your kids have s chance to lift)our coaches get 1500 hundred dollar supplement for two coaches, they now expect our coach to drive all over the state and the gas he uses should come out of the supplement( are you serious), our coach is expected to teach 6 classes or more a day( which I don't think matters to him, but he sure gets no appreciation ) our coach is at the field house 7 days a week at whatever time you want,( I have been there at 5 in morn, I have been there 5 at night, he is always there, keep in mind 1500 dollars) he gets no support from our school board( I won't go there again) they say he has ran off some great players( that may be true, but I would bet that 95 percent didn't won't to play anyways), then I herd this" he cussed at practice"( that one is sad! They tried to write him up or worse for saying a cuss word at practice, how many practices you ever seen where you didn't hear a coach cus?) on the eve of the biggest game ever in the schools history our coaches get to work, go to there mail boxes and you know what's there? A letter saying none of the football players are too be out of class today. ( are you serious? Really? ) ! Now is all this 100 percent accurate? Maybe not! Is most of it accurate? Yes I know for fact! So you read all this, see what the coaches deal with, how they are paid, compare it to every other county school.. I think what they have done is nothing short of phenomenal!

Congrats to " all the cubs" I hope the very best to all you young men! I also hope next years team can do as good or better than this years!

Dude I tell you what!! Like you told howdy, we don't have to do this on coacht if your trying bring me in your problems with the CC coaches you can call me, meet me or anything else you wanna do!

If you were at the games this year, you would know who is " your" sons biggest fan from the sideline! Just ask him who screams for him! as long as he knows how I feel about him then I'm ok!

LOL I noticed my son was not mentioned as one of the very fine young men.

I didn't mention half the kids I usually mention! I said ect.. If that's not good enough for you so be it!

Shadow I understand what your saying.. Understand though! It's no secret to all of us close to this program that Potts ( who is the best player I have ever seen) is not a passer! He will tell you same thing , but he was closes thing we had to a passing QB so he was put there! I have so much respect for him and his parents.. I would of blown a gasket if they moved him from running back to QB, but they didnt! That's why Potts is the ultimate player, he didnt complain, he did what he could to help the team! I love that kid!!

Yes coaches get out coached all the time!!!! You guys missing the point! This is MY opinion, and I do have a kid on the team that starts.and has started since a freshman! These coaches were not out coached in this game! CPA had more playmakers than CC! It was told to me today this- we might match up with CPA 11 on 11 maybe, but then you look on sideline and CPA looks like clones, and we have some guys not even 5.5 in height! The point was , CPA just has to many great players! That is bottom line! Yes, why not kick deep like we did to 21 from Fairview one time, and what happened? CC didn't have one kid, maybe Potts being exception that could catch there returners. I would had kick the same way he did! Sometimes no matter what coaches do, the other team just better. And believe me, I'm not saying that we don't have kids good enough to play them, I'm saying they have alot more, for whatever reason...

Yes eslick, Potts c Castell, Bose, glauss ect.. All very fine young men! They won't be down long! I think a few if not all will be playing football again.. I know Potts, Bose have schools looking.. And 67 also has schools looking.. They all have alot of upside too! Just speaking about eslick right now.. I was told by one of coaches other day" Kev still hasn't stop growing" I thought that's great except he is 6.3 265 and wears 17 shoe lol I hope he don't grow much more!! With that being said I really think Kev will get multible offers just like alot others, and if they want to play, then they will be able too!

It's all good slim... It's just sad when people come on here to try and bring down others for Personel gain... If somebody thinks there a better coach or can coach better than what we have,do it the right way! Get a job, coach then apply! That's a coward to me! You try and bring people down with slander, heck go to the man tell him what you think of his coaching!

Well if and when the entire story comes out, slim and purple may understand why this was a touchy subject.. Where is that " guy" anyways?

All this gets started because someone says we got out coached.. Well if that someone thinks that he or she should apply! I don't think howdy is being disrespectful to anyone, he just like anyone else defends his self and his friends... I think CC and Fairview had a great relationship on coacht.. Just takes one to get everything started, then where is he? Lol

All I know is my son loves his coaches, and like me, we don't always agree! But to call them out like that is wrong!

Hey 86.. You are really over stepping here! You know as does everyone else that CC would of had to have near perfect game to beat a team like CPA! That's like saying like Harpeth shoulda beat CC this year.. Could of it happened? Yes! But 99 out of 100 they wouldn't had! Not the coaches fault, you can always question the coaching after the fact, but it wasn't there fault.

Then the community train needs to vote when there school board, and council seat terms are up for election. That's only way things start getting better for the future and staying that way! If you exclude the private schools, and just talk public, all them schools that win on consistent basis are the ones that have backing!

I understand what you meant slim.. There would be no shame being out coaches by CPA coaches.. I guess it's debatable.. 87 dad and coaches are friends of mine.. I don't think anything was meant by 87 dad either.. I was just simply saying CPA has a team of great great players, and it would be very hard for county school like CC get that many great players.. That's all in saying

Slim I'm really trying not bring up a touchy subject, but when you post stuff about how CPA has all these coaches that have done all this.. Do you think if those same coaches were at CC coaching same players we have, that they beat CPA? Again I said I didn't wanna get in to the public private thing, but when CC has 6 or maybe few more players that are as good as CPA best that's great! Problem was CPA entire team was great.. Whether CPA players all been together, live same neighborhood whatever I don't know. I know this, there is no way a county school like CC can get 30 players as good as there top 6 like CPA has.. That's life, it's done.. I'm really not wanting a bashing post.. I'm just saying! I meet jimrob great guy, I'm sure coachrus is also! No disrespect!

CC didn't lose because the coaches! They lost cuz CPA was the better team.. I'm not gonna say anything else about why, or I will make no excuses! I'm proud of these guys! CPA has a team that is loaded! There good! We are not a passing team, we run the ball, they stopped it for whatever reason, so they one.. Congrats CPA

Great game CPA!!! You guys were the better team... I told you guys last week there wouldn't be any excuses from me.. We lost to a very good team.. I don't know if I would completely agree with the line getting dominated everywhere as I would say the line could not get to the second level.. That's what I said all week, if we could get down field we would win.. I was watching line entire game. When our guys would base block they could turn CPA linemen but as soon as they did all the linebackers would be there... That's who I think should get the credit, CPA middle linebacker is a bad guy... Anyways just my thought... Good luck to CPA very good team...

Cheatham is not doing what we do best for some reason..
