I am very proud of my Rangers on a good competive year! I want to wish the very best to the Bulldogs, Warriors and Highlanders.

Hey,I don't who who your son is but I hope he does well in his recovery! I am a Unaka parent and I know that these are kids and we need to remember that! They are kids that are playing for fun and often we get hung up on wins and loses.I love watching my son play as well as other kids and cherish these times as it passes too quickly.I don't think anyone wants to win more than the players,then the coaches and then the parents. Good luck the rest of the way from a Unaka parent!

If you haven't noticed, Unaka is stedily improving in football having split with Cloudland the last four years.And you better get ready because basketball will be back strong shortly, Dominating again like in the 80s 90s and up thru 2004-5. Baseball has never slowed. I know, baseball is not important, but if you had a program it would. I like and support Cloudland, so you and I pointing out the others shortfall is without merit! I am finished with this hope you are.I offer truce and support for the fine young men and girls that all of our schools have! moving on!

Next time you find your way to the civil part of the county drop by and count CHAMPIONSHIPS trophies and then compare! Oh yeah, you will need more than your ten fingers! A ROUNDED SPORTS PROGRAM WITH MANY CHAMPIONSHIPS USING KIDS THAT LIVE IN OUR DISTRICT!

EHow is recruiting going? You know signing day is in February so I was wondering how many five star recruits from Avery you have. The only high school around that list home towns in their football program! Dillusional? nope, just reality!!!

They did do that in Roan Mountain like they have all their games! It wasn't disrespect!!!! And no, no one ran them out of Roan mtn.

Cloudland can pound the rock but don't throw much at all! I think Hampton will man up and load the box and dare Cloudland to throw.I don't think Cloudland can be one dimensional and handle the Dogs. I think Hampton wins this one because of depth and the landers limited threat on offense. However, Cloudland will come to play and play hard so the Dogs will have to beat them because they want lay down. Hampton 35-16. Good luck to both and stay healthy for the playoffs!

Like I said,They do this every week and Unicoi was in the dressing room with the exception of the four seniors who was coming out for the coin toss.This proves that Unaka was not taunting or showing disrespect towards Unicoi. We have never been able to disrespect anyone in football over the years because our program has been so inconsistent.I have been to every game and the kids have done this all season! (Unicoi is not Florida State!) This was minor to begin with and had it been anything flagrant the officials would have penalized or ejected players. I will add that all of the officials were on the spot. Again, Unicoi's coaches got all over their kids and the fans I was near fron Unicoi was upset at their kids! This one is over, time to move on to Cosby!

Is the Cloudland game Thursday(because of Teacher inservice)or Friday? I know some teams play on Thursday and some on Friday.This thing happens every year,schools choice!

Unala's players were huddled at the fifty after entering the field prior to kickoff. They were huddled and jumping before breaking to the sideline.The Unicoi captains were coming out for the coin toss and saw The Rangers huddled on their emblem (UC) and they charged Unaka's huddle.The referees were there and pushed the players from Unicoi away to their bench area.I was surprised they didn't flag Unicoi or eject them but I'M glad they didn't.It wasn't a big deal really. But I do want to make clear Unaka does this as a part of theie warm-up routine every game and this is the first time this has been a issue.(most teams do the same thing or something similar.The Rangers did win 42-36. I kept up with your Dogs and HV during our game.I would have liked to have watched that one and I must say a little suprised by the outcome.

A blow out with Unaka,they were lucky to win!And one player who didn't play was because he took a hard lick.That's not Unaka's fault.True, South would have had an inpact.Blow out, no!Unaka has not been blown out by anyone.Hampton will not be blown out either!The game is at Hampton, and it is a county game that Hampton takes a lot of pride in. Strap em on is all I can say! You might need some ear plugs for the old cannon!

If Unaka shows up with the same effort it did gainst Hampton I think Unaka wins. However,Unaka has been up and down all season. They have the talent it's a matter of playing four quarters.Go Rangers you need ths one!

I have seen both teams and both do some things well that the other one dosen't. However the bulldogs have Sir Mike on their sideline and he is in my mind the best at getting the most out of his players in a given week.If both teams play their best hampton goes to 9-0. If either plays sloppy, the other is good enough to to take the W.

Look at the records and championships! One can't decide that baseball is not important because you don't care or can't play! Anyway, good luck to Mike and his kids this week. After having seen both teams I think it will be a battle to the end.HV can throw it a little better than most people would believe out their option game.Hampton clearly has the advantage on special teams.This should be a slobber knocker.
