We was completely dominated in every phase of the game. Play calling was suspect as usual but thats easy for me to say standing on the fence. #22 is a stud for the pirates 

Good win for the pirates! We are a 5-5 team at best 6-4. Our run is over, really hard to replace all the players we have lost in the last couple years. Its not going to get better for at least 3-4 years 

they have a good group of upcoming juniors so they should be pretty good the next two years, for their standards anyway. After that they will fall off. May get some transfers also depending on what happens at Grundy co.

Ishmael Avila is the best lineman on that team... don't take my word for it.. tune in to the state game.. then comment. I bet I see... that beerman was right.

MC faster this year than last. Zemen is not even up for Mr Football and he is the best player on that team from what I heard

Marion is fast but faster than last is a stretch. Henderson an Walters could fly

HV1, I thot Jarrett had a good game plan for the AE game...I also imagine MC is watching that film again as we speak.

I'm not sure MC has the overall defensive speed HV had this season to cover Harper's pass nor run game...Even with HV's secondary speed AE still had them burnt quiet a few times.

MC will have to get to Harper to stop AE...They are very capable of stopping AE's backs but with Harper 'on' that even becomes harder to do.

 

AE had some issue with stopping your power run game as they did with ours....BUT it seems when they want to stop you, they turn it up and do so...AE is a head scratcher at times.

They also had problem with a couple of your bigs on the O & D lines....MC will bring the pain all night long so AE has to do a better job on both lines because Harper was pressured way too often and too often your QB had way too much time....HV's Morefield had a field day getting into the backfield....AE did not contain so well and let Street turn the corner too often... but Street's speed is something I'm not sure MC has coming out of the backfield.

(if there was one issue I had with HV's game plan, it was the fact that Street was ran so many times in the hole....Quick pitches and sweeps to Street would have given AE more of a problem IMO....34 & 40 was doing a very good job running the holes and HV went away from that at times and they didn't run nor throw to your other speedster much either)

 

Was an interesting game as this one will be.

 

For every issue I can see MC having with AE, I see an issue AE will have with MC....It IS the playoffs and this is the way it should be

Don't underestimate MC's athletes this team is not slow! They have the speed to get the edge #8 can haul the mail. They will fly to the football on defense. This one will be a good one can't wait for Friday!

From the tape I've seen on H2o I think MC by 28 and maybe mercy. Westmoreland ran for 220 on them and the o line looks suspect. MC d line is going to have the QB running for his life!

Until I hear something from someone concrete o don't believe that mess. Idk why our coaches would put us behind the 8 ball by doing this. There isn't a kid on grundys team that would start on the MC team

Next week is going to be a good one folks!! We will be tested in the air for the first time this year but I feel good about this game with our defense, no glaring weaknesses

my score prediction SP 35 MC27 here's why - These headlines MC51 chose to bring to light is sending frustrations through their camp - parents talking about it around kids - players thinking about it-not focusing , coach frustrated with MC fans/posters for getting the mess started on here lol and going on and on and on lol not dropping it- that's what's ironic- ( oh it's true it's dang true- always wanted to say that) I for one see very little contribution any transfer could or will have at this point on the field if he plays at all especially in 7 days?

 

My prediction is SP will block an extra point and have at least one maybe two returns between a kick off and or punt for TD's - yep I think it's possible
