I don't think Riverside is a title contender, but I also don't think they're quite as bad as the record indicates.

Riverside could've had a 7-3 or 8-2 record, but they chose to play Lexington, Huntingdon, Perry Co, and Dresden for their non district games. If they had played 4 cupcakes in the place of these 4, the record would be better, but the team would be the same. The fact is, they played the toughest schedule in the state for 2a teams and were district runner up. They may lose Friday night, but the play offs are based on district records. Riversides district record is 3-1.

hog is correct, we have a wheelchair area on the home side, the visitors side would be a problem. We're friendly folks though, and wouldn't mind one bit if you sit on our side, just don't beat us too badly...

I was a little shocked that Riverside got a buy, but their SOS was crazy. The combined record of 5 of the teams we lost to, was 46-4! There was the "bad" loss to Waverly, but I dare say a lot of the teams with 6 or 7 wins would have a different record if they played Riverside's schedule.

Riverside SHOULD have been throttled by Lexington, but they weren't, they could have (not should've) beaten Adamsville. The only loss that should've been a win was Waverly. I think you are selling Dresden short, they're pretty good. We did expect more from this team, but 4 losses in a row to 4 great teams will wear on the mentality of a young team.

Just not a lot to crow about from Riverside. Our fans may be a little more educated than the ones who get on here and smack talk when they're not very good. The only game I think we should've won was Waverly, the other 5 losses are to teams that have a combined 2 losses! We played toe to toe with a great Lexington team, and the same against a really good Adamsville team. Huntingdon, Dresden and Perry Co are about as good as I've seen. With our schedule I'd say a lot of teams would have a losing record...we'll see ya'll next spring!

We HAD a pretty decent team in the early going. The brutal early season schedule seems to have broken their will, nowhere near the same effort we had against Adamsville and Lexington!

I don't think the vacating rule is good. If there's a game someone wins and someone loses. It should be a forfeit. Riverside had to forfeit several basketball wins in 1995 due to an ineligable player.

The last 2 years we had Brice White who impacted games just like Tucker does. It's amazing what 1 great player can do for an already good team. I agree you better enjoy it while it lasts, players like that are few and far between!

PC is the real deal. Our guys played their worst game in years but the Vikings probably had something to do with that. Now when those 19 seniors are gone, everything will be back to normal.

dc I wish you'd give some names, when I look down the roster it looks to me like the best players are playing.

Our Jr High team is TERRIBLE! The pass interference call was a good one, our guy was taken down!

I disagree 100 percent, had we not tried to field the short punt, you wouldn't had one of those scoring opertunities. The bottom line is, both teams made mistakes on offense that really hurt, not just Adamsville.

I agreed with the call to go for 2, just not the play call. In the second half we were blowing it up the middle for 4 to 6 yards a pop on a regular basis and our coaches stopped one drive by calling a time out and then 2 plays around the end. Then when we go for 2...around the end!

What a great game! Dumb play call on the 2 pt conversion, but I too would have gone for the win. This was a classsic. Congrats to both teams for leaving it all on the field!

Well the talk out of Adamsville sounds about like last year, hopefully the results will be the same.
