  1. Go to Regions only and get rid of Districts.

    1-2:  Region 1

    3-4:  Region 2

    5-6:  Region 3

    7-8:  Region 4

    9-10:  Region 5

    11-12:  Region 6

    13-14:  Region 7

    15-16:  Region 8

It would bring back the feeling of a tournament setting to where teams had something to play for instead of this silly “everyone gets a participation trophy” mentality that exists today.

    Do what?

Both the Powell and West teams that won the gold balls against them were absolutely loaded with college prospect talent, from the highest levels of college football to the smaller levels.

No offense, but you are clueless if that is your take,

This is clearly an overzealous parent who is using CoachT as a platform to attack a highly successful coach.

Paige head football coach Charles Rathbone is going into his 10th season, and if he doesn’t win state this year, I think it’s got to be his last. He’s had some very good teams, but especially this past season completely sold this year with terrible play calling and time management all year. They had all the capability in the world to win a championship this last season, and they do again this year, especially with a linebacker duo like Anes and Hazzard. I would give him this year, but if he doesn’t win a championship, or at least even make it to the championship game, it’s got to be his last;, there’s no more excuses for him.

Charles Rathbone has been the head football coach at Page since 2012.  Next season will be his 13th as head football coach at Page.  His overall record is 103-44 during that time.

Them Camden boys gonna get woke up real quick. McConnell don’t play. Them boys better leave their feelings at the house.

You called it 4 years ago Trollin.  A disciplinarian who demands “more” out of his players.  10 years ago he brought Waverly football back from the dead and under him from 2014-2018 and then Coach Boldin from 2019-Present the football program there has been very successful in both 2A and 3A.

He will get kids to play.He has a few coming back that love it and welcome the discipline and he will get the kids in the halls too. Thats a bonus

CC, this is what you said 4 years ago when Coach McConnell came home to Camden.  It’s funny how an opinion can change so drastically in just 4 years.

Westview Chargers will be getting a good coach soon. Westview Chargers will be back to mercy ruling their opponents soon enough. When the new coach for Westview Chargers coached Gavin and Montez they mercy ruled a whole lot of teams. Westview Chargers will be good again very soon. It will happen. I guarantee it. Watch and see. Does anyone want to bet me? I am Captain Guru and I approve this message.

I tried to tell people last week that Westview Chargers were getting a real good coach and they would be mercy ruling a lot of teams very soon. They did not believe me. Now do you believe me? Westview Chargers with Coach Simpson's son will be mercy ruling everyone they play in time. It will happen. I guarantee it. Watch and see. I am Captain Guru and I  approve this message.

You called it.  Congratulations to the Westview Chargers on landing a darn good football coach.

Yep he was the head coach at Caruthersville High School. However, what people are failing to mention is he was fired for making racist comments about the students at Caruthersville. His now ex exposed him and sent the text messages out.

I don't care if he is your friend and I don't care where he has coached. The text messages were made public on Facebook for all the world to see. And only a fool would be able to read said messages and be not be able to read the subtle racial undertones in those messages. No, he's coached at those places you mentioned simply because it was opportunities to win and pad resumes. Insinuating that he wouldn't coach at these schools simply because they have large black student athletes, in which you yourself is implying in not so many words is crazy. You can defend what you what, when you want. I'm college educated and I know racial comments, messages and texts when I read them.

You have deliberately made two posts (quoted above) as a passive-aggressive attempt to smear that man’s name and credibility.  It must be nice to be able to hide behind an anonymous screen name on a message board and attack a man’s livelihood.

Oh…..and I’m also college educated and I wouldn’t have had to sit in a classroom for a day in order to read straight through your true agenda on this subject.

Well the opinion about Beau is based on many  things including the history of the program and school itself. While being a great man he’s not ready to be the newest caretaker of that program.

The man has won multiple state championships as the school’s defensive coordinator.  He has head coaching experience.  He was a region championship head coach at a school that had no region championships prior to his arrival and has not sniffed any region championships since he left town either.  That man is more than qualified to lead the program.

I have no candidate so I can take an unbiased approach.

That’s worth a laugh.  Your opinion about Beaubien is definitely biased.  Just because you are close to someone who works in the office does not make you an expert on coaching credentials.

  9. Beaubien is a great football coach and an even better man.  His resume speaks for itself as the DC at DCA in two separate stints.

He also had good success as the head coach at Kenwood in Clarksville and even won the region when he was there.  Their football program has fallen off big time since he left.

Region 5 Waverly will only have one senior unless something changes. We should be very good in two years. I would say Loretto from Region 5 should be the favorites with that big sophomore QB they got.

The 2A to 3A and 3A to 4A changes in the next class cycle will make the classes look different in 2025 and beyond.
