  1. Give the new coaching staff a chance before labeling them Selmer. When is McNairy doing spring ball? Do they have any scrimmages lined up? Good luck to the new Bobcats coaching staff.
  2. “Why is Overton a better job?” There. All Better.
  3. They couldn't possibly hire a bigger joke of a human being.
  4. Go to Regions only and get rid of Districts. 1-2: Region 1 3-4: Region 2 5-6: Region 3 7-8: Region 4 9-10: Region 5 11-12: Region 6 13-14: Region 7 15-16: Region 8 It would bring back the feeling of a tournament setting to where teams had something to play for instead of this silly “everyone gets a participation trophy” mentality that exists today.
  5. This is clearly an overzealous parent who is using CoachT as a platform to attack a highly successful coach.
  6. Charles Rathbone has been the head football coach at Page since 2012. Next season will be his 13th as head football coach at Page. His overall record is 103-44 during that time.
  7. Did Bruceton hire a new coach?
  8. If Coach Wolf does leave Henry County and return to Camden it would be a good hire for the Lions as well. He did a great job at West Carroll and would be a great fit because of his familiarity with the community.
  9. In 4 years he turned Waverly from a program that struggled to win a game into a program that went to the state semifinals and lost to the best team in the state that was later discovered to be illegal.
  10. You called it 4 years ago Trollin. A disciplinarian who demands “more” out of his players. 10 years ago he brought Waverly football back from the dead and under him from 2014-2018 and then Coach Boldin from 2019-Present the football program there has been very successful in both 2A and 3A. CC, this is what you said 4 years ago when Coach McConnell came home to Camden. It’s funny how an opinion can change so drastically in just 4 years.
  11. I’m sure they both have excellent coaching staffs and their track records speak for themselves. Having said that I’m also sure that they both have very talented players across the board and that plays a huge role in their success.
  12. You called it. Congratulations to the Westview Chargers on landing a darn good football coach.
  13. You have deliberately made two posts (quoted above) as a passive-aggressive attempt to smear that man’s name and credibility. It must be nice to be able to hide behind an anonymous screen name on a message board and attack a man’s livelihood. Oh…..and I’m also college educated and I wouldn’t have had to sit in a classroom for a day in order to read straight through your true agenda on this subject.
  14. The man has won multiple state championships as the school’s defensive coordinator. He has head coaching experience. He was a region championship head coach at a school that had no region championships prior to his arrival and has not sniffed any region championships since he left town either. That man is more than qualified to lead the program.
  15. That’s worth a laugh. Your opinion about Beaubien is definitely biased. Just because you are close to someone who works in the office does not make you an expert on coaching credentials.
  16. Beaubien is a great football coach and an even better man. His resume speaks for itself as the DC at DCA in two separate stints. He also had good success as the head coach at Kenwood in Clarksville and even won the region when he was there. Their football program has fallen off big time since he left.
  17. Fairview High School hosted the Region 6-AAA Football Awards Banquet last week celebrating all the teams in the region including Fairview, Cheatham County, Sycamore, Stewart County and White House. Below is a list of awards and nominees. Cheatham County’s Patrick Kelly won MVP while Sycamore’s Hicks Hunter won Offensive Player of the Year. Fairview’s Wendell Billingsley won Defensive Player of the Year as Cheatham County Central’s Tydarious Bright won Special Teams Player of the Year. White House Heritage’s Scott Murray won Coach of the Year and Sycamore’s Wyatt Page won Assistant Coach of the Year. Cheatham County’s All-Region players were wide receiver Robert Humphrey, offensive lineman Jason Jines, defensive lineman Saveon Flowers, linebacker Ethan Steele, defensive standout Devin Sutton, defensive lineman Cooper Cantrell and linebacker Kekoa Jines. Fairview’s All-Region players were running back Travon Murray, wide receiver Cayden Lee, offensive lineman Sam Rood, defensive lineman Bobby Dawson, linebacker Will Frank, defensive back Brian Wagner, punter Jax McCoy, kicker Beckam Adams, offensive lineman Christian Sullivan, offensive lineman Aiden Quionez, linebacker Zedeck Chambers, linebacker Canyon McHam and defensive lineman Andrew Jackson. Stewart County’s All-Region players were offensive lineman Hunter Ford, returner Michael Hardison, kicker Trystin Welch, linebacker Robert Dennis and defensive lineman Mason Vinson. Sycamore’s All-Region players were fullback Esten Andrews, offensive lineman Jeff Bell, defensive lineman Jacob Green, linebacker Silvio Rizzo, offensive lineman Gage Walker, linebacker Mason Austin, offensive lineman Dalton Biggs and offensive lineman Noah Ivey. All-Academic selections were Weston Pape, Fairview; Dominic Malich, White House Heritage; Esten Andrews, Sycamore; Kekoa Jines, Cheatham County and Jaden Gee, Stewart County.
  18. The idea that you think I don't know is the novel concept that is wasting your time. Stop allowing Leroy to live in your dome rent free.
  19. A man who is well traveled and has proven to be a winner just about everywhere he's been.
  20. The 2A to 3A and 3A to 4A changes in the next class cycle will make the classes look different in 2025 and beyond.
  21. Congrats to Houston on winning 6A. The manner in which they did it was very impressive. They took on the best in the state and beat them back to back to back weeks and did so in convincing fashion.
