I don't think that's true at all. I think that most have a genuine interest in seeing how Maryville would stack up against the best teams around the country. It honestly surprises me that Maryville fans get so defensive about this topic and want to call people haters.

Between our porous defense and these dang refs that just refuse to call holding on Bradley the Govs never had a prayer in this game. The Govs are down 52-21 now, it was 31-21 at halftime. What was it I said about the Govs not being competitive in the 2nd half of games? But I'm an idiot that doesn't know what he is talking about....

Ah ya'll are just a bunch of haters, every single one of you. Jeff Co has 2 wins over a 2A team and a 4A team when they are one of the biggest schools in the state, big whoop. And ya'll admitted that Maryville went really easy on Jeff Co. So what exactly have they proved? And last year A WB team with a non-existent defense was able to overcome 5 or 6 redzone turnovers and still win at Jeff Co. So I can't understand your logic when you say they are the better team. If WB had played their schedule thus far and had beaten up on a 2A and 4A schools and were 2-1 ya'll would say that those wins didn't matter because they were against smaller schools. But because it's Jeff Co they are suddenly worldbeaters. Which proves my point that ya'll are just haters.

Dude first of all calm down. I have already picked you to win this week. I really wouldn't put much Stock in what anyone did last year. Yes the Rebels took their foot off the gas in the second half but JC moved the ball in the first half. They didn't finish well and despite the god awful uniforms the Rebels wore they were clearly the better team. JC did some things better than other teams I've seen this year, WB being one of them. I get a chance to watch a bunch of Football, mostly on tape but some live as well and at this moment JC is simply further along. Sorry if this upsets you.

Not sure why you don't believe it I guess that's something you will have to ask yourself. After week 3 Jefferson County is the clear leader followed by HV and WB in that order. Tell them to keep working they are the only ones that can change the order.

Because I've watched all 3 teams play and in my opinion Jeff County and Hardin Valley are better football teams than William Blount is.

Maybe so! But you have to take into account that we have just played 2 of the 3 best teams on our schedule. And the results weren't nearly as bad as they would have been if we had played those 2 teams with the team we had last year. We just got beat 35-7 and 41-14 but both were 4 Qtr games. Maryville fans may not be able to see it but that is progress for us.There's a world of difference between

giving up 35 points through 4 Qtrs and giving them up in the 1st half. We have made alot of improvements but still have a long way to go but we will get it done. And we will be playing against lighter competition from here on out with the exception of Maryville.

I said it before the season started and I'll say it again Jeff county and Hardin Valley will both beat you this year.

How's the officiating in LA tonight?

The snapping the ball over the punters head is driving me crazy thats one of the things that lost us the WB game last yr was doing that I know long snapping is probably not an easy job but they need to practice that every day next week because our defense isn't very good and if were giving up safeties and tds because of bad snaps thats going to get us beat quicker than anything.

I'm going to pick Heritage by 12. I don't think you can go by their play tonight. Heritage needs to fix some things but the Rebels are Deeeeeeeeeep and will make most teams look worse than they really are.

A couple of times Cupp and the boys " wondered" where the penalty was but for the most part they agreed with the zebras. He even got a little upset with the players for the extra curricular activities.

If the refs were calling a fair game this game is atleast 42-0. These refs basically called a penalty on us every offensive play in the first half. And have helped Lenoir City any way they can.

The boys on the radio have talked all night about WBs lack of discipline
