  1. None that I am aware of this year. I'm just throwing out an opinion. I believe Columbia's team this year is better than Ravenwood and Hillsboro. I also believe that they'd give Centennial all they want and may even win. I'm just basing this all on seeing these teams perform this year. No facts to it whatsoever just one's man opinion.
  2. I was just saying don't compare a 3 seed from District 11 with a 3 seed from District 8. But if you want to dream that Columbia was still in the district... Standings Independence Franklin Brentwood Columbia Centennial Ravenwood Hillsboro
  3. In all honesty I hope both teams are completely healthy so the best of the best can duke it out. I'm debating on going to this game or possibly watching Smyrna at Franklin. So many good games this week!!!
  4. I've been waiting all season for the Eagles to have their wings fall off and slip up. Dyson has stuck enough super glue to keep this bunch together and believing they can play with anyone. I'm just banking on a gut feeling that the Eagles finally go into a game with too much confidence and finally do slip up at the worst time. It should be a great game.
  5. I realize you work for a Tullahoma radio station (and do a fine job I might add) and may want your guys to feel like the world is against them to play the role of the underdog... but Centennial a 4pt favorite? C'mon man!
  6. Interesting attempt but District 8 and District 11 are not comparable.
  7. Two evenly matched teams. Turnovers will be the difference. Indy scores two field goals and a TD. Bwood scores an early TD and then punches one in late in the 4th. Bwood 14 Indy 13
  8. I'm not saying he was worth a total of 28 points but... 1) He changes the pace and momentum of a game. 2) He racks up the yards on the ground which keeps the chains moving, the clock moving, and the other team's offense off the field. 3) He definitely would have altered the game tremendously. Anyways... T-Cats by 21.
  9. One of the leaders in the district? Shelbyville finished 3rd in District 8. When CHS met SCHS the Eagles didn't play their stud. Don't let the Sville score fool ya. Tullahoma is well balanced with a couple of stud players. It's going to be a tall order for the Cougars to knock off the Wildcats.
  10. I love the game because sometimes you witness the so-called impossible. It's when young men rise to the occassion to pull a major upset over a team that on paper is just flat out better. That's why they play the game and thank goodness they do. I also love seeing when everyone stands for the national anthem. The band begins to play and the players stand in line with helmets in left arms and the right hand over the heart. If it's a windy night with the stars and bars flapping in the air it just adds to the goosebumps you already have. Also nothing beats the band striking up the school's fight song on every score! Good luck to everyone this Friday.
  11. I'm getting confusing scores from the "Shadow Bowl". It's been reported as 22 to 22 in the 4th, and I've also heard 21 to 19 in favor of Blackman. I guess someone can shoot us straight tomorrow or later tonight. Hope you enjoyed the two threads of Williamson and Rutherford County scores. Each week we try to get better. "Stay thirsty my friends"
