Blazer, when you reference db losing one game you must be talking about Daniel Boone(and they will lose at least 2 Big 8 games, if not 3), because you certainly aren't talking about the big DB(Dobyns-Bennett) for they will cruise through their 1st 6 conference games including a thumping of daniel boone in September and barring injury will top the Toppers inOctober in the friendly confines of J Fred Johnson Stadium heading into the playoffs once more. Now don't be predictable....give us something original and well thought out.

The matchup in "The Big Ones" between Science Hill and Sullivan South on Friday Feb.17 is unlikely to happen. They are in different halves of the bracket and the bottom half won't be determined til Thursday.They can't meet there. The semis aren't til Saturday..they can't meet there. THe only possible meeting would be in the finals or consolation on Tuesday Feb.21. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...but accuracy is KING. Thanks

Alum....Obviously you don't recognize beauty or sarcasm or just plain poking at you. Any rate congrats to the Toppers on Their first win in the postseason in many many years. I hope I'm wrong but I'm afraid that you'll meet a machine more powerful than the Indians were at Kermit Tipton field last Thursday night in that sterling 47-14 display of gridiron excellence. Best of luck in Blount County against the Rebels...we will see you next October in J Fred Johnson Stadium for your annual whipping. Go Toppers and Upper East Tennessee!!

It is with a very heavy heart and an abundance of humility that I announce that Dobyns-Bennett has successfully completed their run thru the Big 1 and little 7 for this season with the complete destruction of the water logged toppers and takeover of Kermit Taylor stadium. I understand leaving after the beatdown was underway but where was the topper nation(?) at the beginning of the game. Lot of empty seats on the home side. Couldn't see all of our side as i was sitting in it, but from the noise made by true non fair weather fans....it appeared DB won the attendance and spirit battles as well. I won't say it but I t... ... .o!!! Roll Tribe Roll!!!

10 and 0 is the first step to the playoffs.....we must play the hand that the TSSAA dealt us in reclassification whether you or I like it.

You can't go one and out without getting there first..there will be 24 teams wishing they could be there and only 4 have a chance at being 10 and 0.....not that we are satisfied with 10 and 0..we want more but it sure is nice tobe in that rarefied 10 and 0 air AGAIN....pretty SAD rebuttal when you have to minimize a team's success with a much better record than yours to make your mediocre team seem better.

By 10PM on Thursday the story (with no flip flops) will be Tribe Rolled to another 10-0 season.

I think you'll be hearing a lot of "Touchdown Dobyns-Bennett!!!

I have to agree...DB by at least two touchdowns. It's not a matter of being arrogant or overconfident simply the abundance of talent, speed, and size. And having Stacy Carter's number!!
